A win is a win,I am usually not bothered about this KSC competition but with our big squad we might as well go for it. It will give more game time to our players returning from injury and our fringe players.

Great to see Nobes again - even in a ‘lowly’ KSC fixture, he played an excellent holding midfielder role, tackling and distributing every bit as well as he has showed us for the past ten years now. I though Nash showed promise too but the end product just wasn’t quite there on the night.
Fantastic goal from Marsh-Brown.
So glad we have a top quality manager at the helm to make all these critical team and squad selections now that the sick bay is emptying out. I don’t think most of us would know where to start!

The old adage springs to mind now as we can concentrate on the league now.
The league is the most important part of any clubs season, and then followed by the FA cup with always the potential to make a lot of money with the right draw and then the FA trophy and lastly the KSC.

Happy with another win after Slough. Who knows, it would be nice to chase some silverware at the end of the season, although given how our fortune's have changed, getting as good a berth as posible for the play offs is more important. Whatever, nice to win a local derby, even in the KSC, and we push on.

Sounds a good performance with only 2 of the Slough starting team, while Maidstone only made 2 changes from their loss at St Albans according to Kent Online report. Well done to those who traveled and gave good support.
Not sure when quarter final draw, but we join Phoenix, Ashford, Whitstable, Ramsgate (who beat Ebbsfleet 4-0 last night), Dover, Gillingham and Tonbridge or Folkestone, who don't play until 11th Feb, so with the luck of the draw, we have chances to make further progress.

Dover and Gillingham play their under 23s side, and Gills always play their ties away from home. So a chance of silverware and I might be wrong but I have it in my crust the winners receive 6k. Mind you I dont know where I have that from.BrianL wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 4:42 pm Sounds a good performance with only 2 of the Slough starting team, while Maidstone only made 2 changes from their loss at St Albans according to Kent Online report.
