He was named on the bench for the home game against Haywards Heath tonight and never made it on to the pitch as the match was abandoned after just 10 minutes due to a local power cut!
I was there. The Sevenoaks centre half was no doubt relieved. Scoring the only goal of the game, spectacularly lobbing the ball over his own keeper.
In the end it was a bloody long way to go for a burger with fried onions.

Of course fans favourites are going to leave. My Mate and I have been long term sponsors of Lee Noble and he has been our favourite since coming to the club. But to be honest I can't see Lee being at PP next season. He has given his all for this club but as said, SK has the players in mind for this club now. It's not all down to being 'the fans favourites' anymore. Actually, I don't think it ever was.

You might be right Dave but a fit Lee Noble is one hell of an asset.
I think that he still has a lot to offer and hopefully SK will
give him a chance because sometimes we need an
"Enforcer" on the pitch😁😁😁

What? Have you forgotten how bloody good he was last season, way above everyone else’s performance level.
He’s a brilliant players who would be a brilliant part of Steve Kings talented and only getting better squad.
And I agree he wasn’t a fans favourite like RH7. Ability never came into it who’s a favourite though.

As good as anyone has been is a total irrelevance. Shall we play those players until they drop. No of course not. DFC need to move on. Whatever the fervour of TBs reign in transition, I do not believe that anyone cannot feel/sense/understand where Steve King can take DFC.. He will take the club as far as the club want to go. That is a factual reality check. Get used to it. Yes you can aim daggers at my statement, but this man is the most knowledgeable, understood, respected manager in my belief in league 2, and certainly non league. Look at the football we are witnessing. It is without doubt the best I've seen for a long time. I reiterate many peoples view that we should forget about our passions for players past and even present..and realise this is a sleeping non league giant and by God Steve King will awaken him and IS

Ozy didn't say Lee wasn't a fans favourite, you did. Of course Lee Noble WAS and STILL IS a fans favourite. Most people I know (myself included) would rate him as our best player, at least, up until very recently. I agree with you that he would seem to be an ideal fit with SK's preferred style as Nobes is an athletic player, full of energy and very mobile. He is tenacious, very effective and covers lots of ground. However, it's about winning and unlikely as it may seem, if Steve King finds an even better player to replace him then that's football. That won't change the fact that Lee Noble has been absolutely fantastic for us and had it not been for Elliot Bradbrook, Nobes would have won the recent supporters vote for player of the decade ... and I think that poll got it dead right with Bradders, Nobes and Ryno coming in 1st, 2nd and 3rd in that order.

Your last two sentences are so unneccessary. I do wish you would let the Ryno thing go Kentc, it's becoming an obsession. There can't be anyone in Kent who doesn't know you didn't rate him and that's your prerogative, but the comment about ability not coming into it is an insult to those of us who disagree with you and is nothing more than just another cheap shot. You've got what you want, so surely it's no longer neccessary to keep denigrating a guy who isn't even playing for us at the moment and is extremely unlikely to be here next season, if he comes back at all. Most of Ryno's critics would at least admit that he has ability, it was weaknesses in other areas of his game that divided opinion. Yes, he was mine and many other people's FAVOURITE player, but that's not necessarily the same as being rated the BEST player and it didn't stop me and almost everybody else voting for Nobes as player of the season last year. I'm pretty sure Lee polled around 95% of all the votes last season so please let's not hide another thinly veiled attack on Ryno behind the pretence that Lee Noble isn't appreciated.

Whilst I think that this time you may well be correct Reg, I must remind you that you said similar things about Flanners & Coyley.

Apart from awakening Islamic State, that's new.

Kent, where does Ozy say Nobes wasn't a fans favourite? As far as i can see he says the exact opposite?
I've also lost count of the awards Nobes has won voted for by the fans so surely he must be a favourite?

And as for dragging RH7 into it again i think is just very poor so i suggest you have a look at this:-

Kentc you seem to have conveniently forgotten that Nobes has won the forum player of the year about 5 times; how doesn’t that make him a fans’ favourite? The bloke has been brilliant for Dartford. But your needless and incorrect comparison is just one more example of your ridiculous obsession with knocking Ryan’s achievements; he is an entertainer with an abnormal number of assists and appearances for the Darts. A club legend for many and that fact you will never accept.
