tommytollbooth - my apologies, I didn't read your post properly about Ryan. I'm glad he didn't turn it on against us. Duke - you may want to do the same and make sure to keep your stock of medication and / or Bodyform topped up.

Not a good game to watch. We had most of the ball after conceding the first and managed to get behind their no3 on at least 5 occasions in the 1st half before poor crossing from Driver. Driver worked himself into 2 good positions in the 2nd half and was only let down by poor passes from Murphy - who was only 5 yards away!. Best way to sum up last night - sam allardyce football at Everton.

Motm - The M25 / Dartford crossing for not holding me up on the way home !!

I know it sounds a bit Monty Python but apart from the two goals Concord did very little to hurt
us. First was a wonder strike by Wall from a tight angle and for the second it looked like we went to sleep and
didn't mark up properly allowing a low cross and an easy tap in. As others have said for all our attacking play
i dont think there keeper had to make one significant save and in truth we never really created anything.
That's four games now and not one goal from open play, very worrying.

Didn't go and was not surprised at the result after the debacle that was the match on Saturday.
As said, early days. A few teams that are expected to do well are mis-firing and that includes us.
Expect another tough game Saturday.
As I have said, I expect a mid table finish and if we don't sort out a partner for Sam-Yorke it could be a struggle. :(

Is Jamie Coyle going to get lambasted every time and ex player scores a goal but perhaps he is NOT " mistake free " like a few on this forum , FFS give him a break !!!!

I dont care how many goals Pavey or Wall score this season as they dont play for us anymore !!!!!!!!
agree Duke, they dont play for us now so what is the point of whether they score or not , it is over, they have gone and we as a club must now move on and focus on US and not what others do

Not much quality has been brought in, the only decent signing was Sam-Yorke and the injury to Pughie has done Del no favours at all, or the team for that matter.
Not seen enough of Billy, Manny and Kudus to comment. Philpot's too lightweight and Callum is far below the recommendations of Jamie Coyle.
Back four look good but not great and Issac and Greenhaugh blow hot and cold.

Pavey walked so I agree, he is irrelevant. Wall however was discarded. Wall has scored 4 in 4 and so far we've looked toothless up front. It's still early days as Wall could break down injured and Philpott could turn out to be a great player, but it's a perfectly valid discussion point. If you had to be mistake free to pass comment then none of us could ever pass comment on anything.

I've just watched the 2 1/2 minutes of so called highlights on the Vanerama site of last nights game and from what you could see of their second goal it looked like disgraceful defending from the team.
To many players just stood and watched whilst their player chased & kept the ball in and got his cross over then we just watched whilst their guy ran in at the far post to score.

To many players seem to be just strolling around with their heads down as though they don't really care, I think a few need some rockets shoved up their rear ends to fire them in to gear.

another poor showing,we need to play 2 upfront because when we pump the ball up to sam-yorke he needs someone to help him,to many times we have other forwards playing on the wing and then complain they dont put in decent crosses when they need to be in the middle with sam-yorke to be able to score.i am not to impressed with the new players except sam-yorke,roast and driver. It was the first time i have left with twenty minutes to go because you could tell that everything did not look right and it was going to be one of them nights.

Very little creation, we don't seem to have a natural goalscorer, think we have probably been spoilt over the years and also we had a creator. Really don't understand this one up front, 3 goals in 4 games tells us something and reckon last night we must have hit the ball over the bar 20 times with shots & headers. Not sour grapes really did't think much of Concord apart from Wall's strike.
