Neither have I, but the objective is to win games and managers have to do what they think is best for the team as a whole. Is there anyone out there who doesn't think that King has improved the overall performance of the team? It seems clear that King likes athletic, mobile players with pace and if that's the style he wants to go with then it obviously won't suit everyone.

I have always been a devout Ryno fan, in fact he has been my favourite Dartford player of all time, but he himself has already indicated that he just wants to see this season out with the Darts whereas Steve King's brief (initially at least) was to avoid the drop whilst simultaneously preparing for next season's promotion challenge. We picked this manager because he has a great track record and he has already worked wonders in only a few weeks, so it seems a bit churlish to start complaining about who he has and hasn't selected.

A few of our favourites may move on, that happens at all clubs, but anyone who has the club's best interests at heart would surely be 100% behind the manager who has already made massive strides forward.

Ryno as stated by Spike intended this season to be his last at this level, and Steve King did say Ryno requested to go to Sevenoaks on dual registration so he can be nearer to his home which you cannot blame him.

We got to expect fans favorites to leave but these will be replaced by other fans favorites Like Elliot Romain, In a recent interview SK mentioned he would be looking to send Lee Noble out on loan as well which you would expect considering how long he has been out but he does figure in SK plans.

I for one am really enjoying the Steve King reign as manager at the buzz around the place is certainly back such a good atmosphere at Dorking on Saturday and this will continue i am sure with larger crowds as the style of football we are getting is what will get people through the turnstiles, but saying the that our best result of the season was away to Tonbridge as it lead to us getting King.

I think that was always on the cards. Ben was arguably the best player that Coyley and Flanners signed and he's been a great ambassador for the club, but I dont think his style fits with King's plans and ultimately it's what happens on the pitch that matters as Coyley and Flanners will testify. Thanks to Ben for all his efforts and i wish him well for the future.

All the best for the future Ben, a talented player but obviously not what King wants.
We have improved a lot since our new manager came in
and there will be some departures but something had to be done after our terrible start.

Do we know, Gary, whether Ben will continue his excellent work with the Academy, which I understand was on a completely separate contract?

Ryan Hayes did not have the best of starts in his first game for Sevenoaks. He was named on the bench for the home game against Haywards Heath tonight and never made it on to the pitch as the match was abandoned after just 10 minutes due to a local power cut!

Very sorry to see Ben go, Steve King quickly made his mind up about Ben and decided he wasn't the kind of player he wanted. We can expect to see more of our favourites depart to pastures new. But there is no denying Steve King is revitalising Dartford FC with his style of football on the deck and the players he has brought in want to play for him and they are just what we need winners!
