the chances that we did have were all wasted by blasting the ball way over the bar, need to get the scoring sorted, we didnt look like scoring, their keeper did not have to make a save all night as i recall. hope we do better on Saturday, it will be another tough match

We badly lacked cutting edge in the final third and the long balls were so frustrating to watch. Had most of the ball between their 1st and 2nd goals but hardly tested the keeper. Also I’m yet to be convinced by Driver.

I had a horrible feeling that the Alex Wall debacle would come back to bite us & especially Coyle on the arse just like the Alfie Pavey one bit Coyle big time at Welling last season.
Is that 4 in 4 for Wall now where as I think we've only scored 3 and 2 of those are from Bradbrook with 2 penalty misses. Not the greatest of starts so far for our new strikers.

I only hope the team turns their performances around pretty fast because from what I've heard Saturday was bad and tonight was even worse. I know it's almost a completely new team we've got but everyone has to pull in the same direction and put 100% effort in and from reading the comments from the last couple of games it sounds like they haven't all been doing it.

A poor game to watch. Not much between the two sides but you need someone who can stick the ball in the net and it's really hard to get past this Alex Wall thing when the bloke smashes a wonder goal past us after only 3 minutes. At this point in time, our defence isn't too shabby but we look woefully inadequate going forward and you just wonder where our goals are going to come from. I've no doubt the ever reliable Bradders will get his obligatory double figures but other than that, I could see Alex Wall bagging more goals this season than our entire forward line put together.

I appreciate it's a massive task taking over from Tony Burman and 7 points from the first 12 is a solid enough start so there's no need to panic just yet, but we definitely need significant improvement in the cutting edge department. Jamie and Adam put a lot of stock in signing Jamie Philpott and I'm hoping that eventually they will be proven right and he will be the one who could provide us with some teeth up front. He lost his place after a disappointing performance against Hemel on Saturday but I thought he looked much better at Bath when he played in the centre up front. I hope he gets another chance there soon as we need to find someone with shooting boots asap.

Early days yet but the last 2 games have been hugely disappointing and its hard to believe that this is the same team that played so well against Chelmsford last week. Much work to be done by the management duo I think.

It was written in the stars that Wall would score and score he did with a ferocious shot that whistled past Del. We huffed and puffed but even our old war horse Bradders could not make a real impression on a Concord defence marshalled by former Dart Tyrone Sterling he of Bambi on ice fame. At least Haysie did not put in an appearance and was replaced in the second half. I know its early days with new players and management but if anybody can see a formation or goalscorer in our squad please put it on a postcard and send it to Princes Park . Sorry to be downcast but Concord is such a depressing shithole at the best of times.

We do not look like scoring in open play,I am not panicking yet but I am cocerned!
We look like a mid tab!e team at best.
I hope that our manager's can find the answers cos we are powder puff up front at the moment.
2 poor performances in a row.Come on lads this DFC

I’d love to know the full story behind what happened with Alex Wall. Conflicting stories have emerged about a willingness to jump ship for more money in contrast to one where his services were surplus to requirement once Andy Pugh suffered his broken leg. If the former is true, then what can you do? However if the latter is the case, it must surely be threatening Coyle’s choice to exclude Pavey from his playing squad as one of his worst decisions.
How did Hayes play last night?

As per my post above Haysie did not do anything to hurt us and was replaced mid way through the 2nd half. he was very mediocre and would have fitted in very well in our team.

First game that I have seen since the end of preseason, first thing I would say is why did we spend so much time looking for wingers and playing 442 preseason if we are not going to play that formation, on to the game they caught us cold after 3 mins with Alex taking a chance to shoot on site, don't think Del had any chance to save it really. For most of the first half and most of the second half we then had most of the ball without working there keeper and our best chance of scoring was going to be from a set piece,
Found it strange that Philpot did not even come on for 20 mins when we needed a change upfront, it seemed in open play that when we had the ball instead of looking for a pass to many players just tried to run with the ball with 3-4 concord players chases them down and no support from any team mate.

I didn't go last night so I have no comment to make on the game although I am disappointed that we lost , obviously we are not firing on all cylinders yet but its only 4 games in and new players need to settle in and I reckon that Jamie Phillpott in the No10 role could still score goals and Kudos [ in preseason] has already shown he has pace and and eye for goal , his groin injury hasnt helped .

Is Jamie Coyle going to get lambasted every time and ex player scores a goal but perhaps he is NOT " mistake free " like a few on this forum , FFS give him a break !!!!

I dont care how many goals Pavey or Wall score this season as they dont play for us anymore !!!!!!!!
