I’m okay with Sesay’s tactics as well. I don’t see what’s wrong with slowing the game down especially if you’re winning. Yes the booking at Welling was silly but if he had got that booking in the 80th minute it wouldn’t have been silly.
The main thing is his ability backs it up and and besides some kicks going abit wayward he is a very good keeper for his age.

His kicking is awful but that can be worked on apart from that he looks a good keeper.DA1 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2019 6:59 pm I’m okay with Sesay’s tactics as well. Even more convinced now this was never a sending off, the club must surely appeal.Darren wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2019 12:19 pm Having watched it a few times and after editing to slow it down, I’m more convinced that their player stood on Sesay’s hand

Ah Llamaman, nice to chat on a different thread. There is time wasting, and there is time wasting. See Carl Pentney for Maidenhead when they got promotion. Now THAT was time wasting, and poor refereeing.
Not once was Alhaji told to 'get a move on' by the ref on Saturday. Probably feeling sorry for the relentless attacks on the Tonbridge goal.
Happy New Year to you and all on here.

Only just viewing this for the first time.
Firstly Darren, well done for slowing down the video. Perhaps there may be more in the future.
Secondly, there seems minimal contact by the forward on Sesay, but enough to incense him, although there was no need for the forward to get so close to Sesay, who going to ground was only doing what many keepers do nowadays.
What does intrigue me though, and is not shown on the video, is, how did the game restart?
Was it a free kick from Sesay's position?
If so, the referee acknowledges there was a foul on Sesay and perhaps the Tonbridge player should have received a yellow card.
If the ref didn't see it as a foul on Sesay, then surely it would have been a penalty if play was continuing. The ref seemed to be quite a way from Sesay, judging by the length of time he took to run into video view.
Difficult to see what Josh did. It seemed more like an obstruction rather than any punch being thrown. A caution, yes, for getting involved - a red card, no.

Hi Pete, we were awarded the free kick for the foul on Sesay by their player.

There is no way they would overturn it and go against the referee. History will show you that the truth and facts are irrelevant. They will back him regardless.
Personally I thought he was really poor and loved his little whistle. During breaks in play he would blow it at someone one yard in front of him who is already looking straight at him to exert his authority and feel important.
