Mate this is silly. One thing our players particularly under Steve king show is tons of bottle.
To be honest if Steve king isn’t going to float your boat and the football he plays I don’t think you’ll ever be happy.

What a pain in the arse. No, I'm not talking UTD's here, I'm talking Elliot Romain. That guy was awesome yesterday, his work rate is astronomical, and was such a thorn in the Maidstone side.
Hakan says it was not the performance he is used to from a Maidstone side. Well!! That's two weeks on the trot. Cos in my mind, we could have won last week and should have won yesterday. When I saw the side that came out on the pitch I thought we were in for a shallacking/ (Let's face it, the tannoy is awful at the Gallagher). But each player put up a fine performance.
Marsh Brown was unlucky to be booked, Vint was excellent. It seems to me people like to play for the King. I even liked the look of Mandy from what we saw of him.
Maidstone were pretty ordinary considering they have a squad of 20 odd and we were scraping around to get a team up to play them.
On to Tuesday and what a pisser, I can't make it. But I'm sure we will give it our best shot.
The whole team excellent, Vinty stood out but on a day that Romain wins my MOTM hands down.

Was there yesterday, but not use to being made to stand behind a goal so couldn't see too well down the far end, but having just seen the highlights a few points spring to mind:
1) 2 x very good finishes by Romain.
2) Definately a penalty for us for the hand-ball early in the first half.
3) What a W#nker their no 4 after their 2nd goal !!
4) We deserved to win.....again.

Agree, i was certain it was a penalty at the time and also saw their number 4's reaction to their goal, he will get a nice warm welcome Tuesday night.

First of all if i'm correct we had NINE players missing yesterday, Lee Noble, Sam Blackman, Jordan Wynter, Charlie Sheringham, Jordan Gibbons, Liam Gordon, Cameron Brodie, Billy Crook, Norman Wabo.
Apparently there is also a sickness bug in the camp and some had to drop out as late as the day of the game and i believe Tom Bonner who was very good again was still suffering from it which makes his performance even better.
Because of the circumstance we had to play an untried and untested formation.
We had no orthodox full backs in the squad.
Several players had to play out of position.

So taking all this into account yesterdays performance was phenomenal and the players deserve massive credit.

What was also very pleasing for me was last week when we went behind the players lost focus for a while, but not this week. They showed tremendous character, never faltered and came back twice with a great performance and again deserved to win the game.

Also a word about Steve King, he has made a massive difference already and the players have responded well because if you look at yesterdays starting line up nine of those players were from the existing squad.

You could make so many cases for different reasons on who should be MOTM but for me it has to be Elliott Romain.

Watching Dartford is fun again and i can't wait for the next game.

I don't know how much they reflected the actual play, but the first half highlights were almost all DFC!

I hope you’ve checked your pockets!

Good day yesterday, nice bit of shunting in the Dragoon to get things started, followed by a decent sing up in the big shiny new stand at the Gallagher. If anyone was still unsure about SK, getting us in the hat for tomorrow’s draw should bring everyone fully on board. He really had the team working together in the face of adversity. As Trevor B says it was difficult to bottom out where everyone was being asked to play when the team was announced, but that’s why King is the manager and we are the fans.
So pleased to have Romain in the ranks, this guy is mustard and a strong unit too (must be Coleman’s).

Bizarre to face the same lot for a third time. I expect it’s happened before, but I’ll bet the result wasn’t the same each time, so if Tuesday ends 2-2 we’d better call Reuters.
