Attendance 2148. How many Maidstone fans do people think were there ? Trying to guess how many more DFC fans were there yesterday.

A game that we would have lost under Coyle and Flan.
Excellent substitutions from SK which began to stretch
Maidstone and force them to sit deep imo.
The future looks good under our new manager ,you can attend as many coaching courses as you like and you will
learn a lot but you cannot beat experience.
Well done to DF C we are in good hands!

This Ryan Hayes debate is ridiculous.
Mom is a popularity vote and an insult to some of the players who played really well.
This is what’s typifies the ridiculous attitude and finding reasons and excuses to bid to make out some popular players are better than are.
Ryan Hayes played ok. He hit a few poor crosses going wayward. His cross field passing was all over the place, he never runs at defenders and hangs back rather than runs into space in front of him. His first touch wasn’t great...but...he did putin a shift and tried hard, he did put in some decent crosses but to be fair no better than others can do. But as people know Im not a Ryno fan but I can see him improving under king and I hope he does as he has onbvious ability and king will get the best out of him consistently.
To say Hayes was shit is an insult to Hayes, to say he changed the game or was our best players is beyond moronic and purely people sticking for their favourite player when so many did so well for 90 mins and have been ignored so many of you can jump on the we love Ryno bandwagon. It’s an insult to other players.
the fact he is already in the mom rating shows how popularity is far more important to anything else the rest of our team put in.
Someone says anyone who knows football etc....I know football, I know Hayes did ok and will hopefully get better under king, I know that voting Ryan Hayes mom is a popularity vote and an insult to most of the rest of the team,
People go on about supporting the club we’ll support the bloody team and not your favourite player.
I think Hayes did ok, I think he has a part going forward and I hope he thrives under king.
All these comments about Ryno changing the game and being the best players in the pitch is an insult to the other players and you need to start showing them the same levels of support as you all do for the Ryno love in.
It’s your support that’s fkin shit because it’s biased towards your favourite player.
Anyone who voted Ryno mom knows fk all about football or Ryno is their favourite player.
You don’t support your team properly.
For the record I enjoyed waiting Ryno yesterday and hope he thrives so no one give me this haters crap.
I support the team not individual players over others because i like them more.

Re: Dartford v Maidstone - 15:00 Sat 11th Nov
My first SK match and I was listening to his interview after. He talks a good game because for me we didn't start playing until Hayes came on and he was peppering the Maidstone box with balls in. Ok, not too much quality in a few of them but it put pressure on an otherwise capable defense that was coping quite well.
The first half was boring and the second started just as bad and turned worse when they scored. Couldn't see a way back and when the second went in I thought that was it. So quite enjoyed the last 8 minutes when we pulled it back and really could have gone on to win it as they were hanging on by then.
The new players? even though Gibbons got sponsors MOTM he lost the ball a few times when under pressure, Elliot Romain should have been given a medal because he was on his own quite a bit and did his best to upset them. Marsh-Brown has a sweet left foot and got in a few crosses that HAD to be dealt with.
Allen played well but sometimes the midfield was absent and Maidstone had the run of the park at times.
Steve says he's going to change things around Game to Game. That it one thing previous managers didn't do. So next Saturday I am looking forward to the Trophy game and putting Maidstone to the sword, because really, if that's the best they got we can do it. Considering also that they are full time they were very poor. I think a couple of seasons in the South will do them no harm at all.
Very difficult to name a MOTM but as said, we didn't start playing until Hayes came on which says something.

Oh and by the way, Oh for a Mark Onyemah. That kiddie Gordon was way out of his depth. I do hope he was having a bad day.

Strange ? I really rate Gordon!! Pretty sure he won the D & R young player of the season last year?

i did vote for romaine for exactly the reasons you have stated and i said it in my comment i was impressed he did it for 90 minutes and not letting upRambo wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2019 9:26 am I just have to say that I went for gibbons for motm but on reflection I should have chosen romaine. He kept going all through the game and never shirked a challenge. He was up against two very good defenders and took big hits from them and gave some back and actually finished the game stronger than they did. In fact I reckon Elokobi is the best defender in this division and to trouble him as romaine did makes him a very good player
He is a player with a big heart and that rubs off on other players
