Apart from the fact Ryan put in the corner that got us back to 1-2 ....and the game changed once he came on ....still the best player we have even if he can play 90 mins any more at this levelUpTheDarts wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 5:42 pm He might be a DFC legend doesn't mean he should still be playing. Sir Bobby Charlton is a United legend but he doesn't still play so that's an awful justification statement.

That's not what Radio Kent said about him. Funny that. Was it not Ryan who took the corner that led to our first goal.UpTheDarts wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 5:21 pm Will definitely take the point. Both teams poor and neither deserved the win.
God knows why Hayes was brought on with 25 MINUTES TO GO chasing two goals. He's been past it for years, does the same shit every attack where he cuts inside and tries to float one in and then they read it and cut it out. A right winger with no right foot is not what we need now.
Can't really say anyone deserved MOTM because they were all below par today

Thankfully UpTheDarts isn’t the manager because he’s so blinkered he wouldn’t use all qualities that are in the squad. Steve King is though and he certainly knows how to make the most of what is available to him. We deserved that draw and with that attitude and commitment we’ll gather enough points to secure a mid table spot. And, you never know, we might even knock on that play off door especially when Nobes, Sheringham and Wynts are back in contention after injury.Dartford Knight wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 6:03 pmApart from the fact Ryan put in the corner that got us back to 1-2 ....and the game changed once he came on ....still the best player we have even if he can play 90 mins any more at this levelUpTheDarts wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 5:42 pm He might be a DFC legend doesn't mean he should still be playing. It wasn’t the greatest game but things are definitely looking up.

Oooh. Thanks for the goals. I left at 0-2 cos I needed to be elsewhere sharpish and was worried about car park end traffic today. I didn’t leave through exasperation though. I was quite pleased (at 0-2) how we performed. Couldn’t believe my eyes when I got home and saw 2-2.KSTDART wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 5:47 pm If you are going to get a draw thats the way to do it , feels more like a win for sure . Felt we did not deserve to be behind but when the first goal went in we completly lost our shape and Maidscum took full advantage of it scoring their second .
We got our first goal back courtesy of a flap from the keeper from a corner and Bonner headed home as the ball came back across . And then step up Darren Mc slotting home superbly to equalise . How good was that![]()

Enjoy the goals .. Note maybe a bit wobbely due to being in a sling and mainly using one hand

Side note. Is UptheDarts a Dartford supporter? Posts are becoming tiresome now. What will he/she say next season when we are blazing again? FFS!

Hayes' only contribution was a corner that led to a goal. Wow outstanding work for 25 minutes when he had so many touches of the ball.

A last-gasp equaliser seems as good as a win, especially after being 0-2 down. The fact that we've dropped a place in the table seems irrelevant. The first half was utterly forgettable. I guess Heyrattin must have put a rocket up his team's collective bum at half-time because they came out a different side. So their first (very well-worked) goal came as no real surprise. What was disappointing was the way the second goal was scored: only 3 minutes after the first one, and a guy cuts in from the wing virtually unchallenged and fires in a speculative shot that 9 times out of 10 would have gone wide. It was good, though, to see that the Darts' never-give-up, fight to the death attitude seems to have returned under SK: 2 goals in 2 minutes in the last 5 minutes! No wonder the Stones players were holding their heads in disbelief. I do believe that on the way out I heard a cry of "2-0 and you f****d it up..." It's a long time since I've heard a chant of that ilk!
But don't talk to me about the parking! I got to PP 20 minutes ahead of my normal time - and still got directed 2/3 of the way down Powder Mill Lane. What with the walk back to the car and the queues of traffic to get out, it took 45 minutes from the final whistle to get to Princes Road. Forget about League 1 - if we do get promoted to the National League, someone's gonna have to think hard about expanding (or creating more free space in) the car park.
