Re: BATH CITY (A) SAT 4TH SEP 3PM K.OFF

Great win! 5/5 couldn't ask for more at this point especially when I looked at our opening 5 games when they were released. Brilliant stuff.

Day made even better as Dorking have just conceded in the last minute to Chelmsford - None other than Charlie Sheringham getting the goal, cannot wait for Marc White's comments on that one

Re: Sloff (H) 21st August 2021 3 P.M

Will be my first game in what feels like forever! Are there any COVID requirements for attending on Saturday? Do we need to provide a negative test or anything as I can't seem to find anything on the club website.

Re: St Albans (A) Sat 14th August 2021

I've seen on the twitter that somebody claimed a ball boy was racially abused? But then I've also seen people jump on it and deny that claim saying that the ballboy was giving abuse (as well as throwing objects) and getting abuse back but no racism was involved? I unfortunately couldn't make the game yesterday so can't say what did/didn't happen but surely another fan/steward/goalkeeper would have heard it if that was the case? If it was racism it does need to be investigated and if found that someone was guilty, they do need to be banned but if it was made up then the punishment should be as bad as a false claim could seriously damage someone's personal life/career.

Hopefully the club/St Albans can get to the bottom of it and we can enjoy the season going forward as imo you cannot take action for simply "bad language" - it's football people will swear - if yesterday is anything to go by what a season it will be!

Re: Slough Town away January 18

An unfortunate loss but we're still in a great position especially after the way our season started. We just need to pick up and go again. Slough are a very good side this season and it's evident in the league table

'UpTheDarts' just seems like a wind up merchant and I'm not going to entertain his 'opinions' and that's all I'll say on the matter.

Re: Oxford City (H) 11/1/20 3P.M

I'm confident for tomorrow - We're top of the form table, and although Oxford have won their last 2 they've not been very consistent recently. I'm hoping with a squad that's full of confidence and a crowd of hopefully above 1000 we can push the lads on to get the win and solidify ourselves in that playoff race!

the futures white wrote: Sun Jan 05, 2020 12:58 pm Why not tell him Rambo. It is unlikely that Steve King or his staff look at the forum (I may be wrong). According to the Walthamstow FC website Dwade has scored 54 goals in 51 matches. There is an interview with Dwade on their website in which he mentions that its his ambition to be a full time footballer and that last summer he turned down offers from clubs in higher leagues because of the coaching he receives from the Walthamstow manager who has helped him immensely since he has been at the club.
Oh I would tell him if I could speak to him Future but I can’t see when I would ever face him
Dwade is as good as the stats suggest and he is the only player at the club to be on a contract
He is a real prospect

Drop the club an email or something, I'm sure the message will get passed on, especially if you provide all of the info to prove it's a legitimate suggestion.

Re: Dorking away 04.01.20 match thread

If I remember correctly, Dorking were a very dirty side when we played them at home earlier in the season. Seems like nothing has changed from reading from those in attendance. Makes the 3 points even sweeter!

Re: Dorking away 04.01.20 match thread

Been a long time "lurker" of the forum but never made an account to post until now but after that performance I just had to!

WOW! 3 months ago I was severely worried about our future - and then Steve King came in and, what an appointment. I had heard the hype around him but did not expect us to be in with a sniff at the playoffs in January. Hopefully we can keep it up and continue pushing up the table and solidify us in the playoffs. We've just beaten one of the most in form sides in the league I believe we can do it even if we do fall short in the end what a turnaround this is. Would really like to see PP average 1000+ per game and King is going the right away about getting the fans to come and stay.

Anyway hope to get to know you now I'm an official member and will hopefully interact more rather than just read everyones comments (and drivel in some cases but won't name names!)
