Get a grip? That’s a bit much isn’t it, bearing in mind you’ve totally not understood the initial post..

From getting petitions up to doing fans United , to being chairman of supporters clubs. I firmly believe with a crowd today , second half we would of sucked that ball in the net. I firmly believe at poorly supported clubs like Welling, hungerford, Dorking etc tat our away support is worth a goal start, We have flair players , they thrive on cheers and praise. I may just be me but all u can hear at the games at minute is about four people on every bench shouting instructions , I suspect players are very confused with instructions! Fan noise is so important, another season with no fans will kill football
Couldn’t agree more

Re: Billy Ricky (H) Tuesday 12th January

Very good victory this evening and great to see some of the fringe players take their chances.
Luke Allen deserves a run in the side now, and Josh Hill has waited patiently for his chance too.
Let’s hope we see a settled side going forward for the next few games now.

I am reliably imformed that although the team bus arrived before 13.00, they were told to stay on the bus until 13.30, & subsequently were not allowed access to the ground until 13.45.
After the game they were informed that they were not allowed to shower, no food of any kind was provided & were instructed to get on the bus immediately & leave!! Still caked in mud!!
The home team of course were allowed in pre-match as per normal & enjoyed a hot shower after the game!!
Now i'm all for removing the light bulb in the away teams dressing room to gain any advantage you can but i'm pretty sure that it's a league requirement/law to provide access at 13.30 latest pre-match, & hot showers & a warm meal post-match for any opponents??
If they want to insist it's all down to Covid then surely it applies to both teams??

Couldn’t agree more, if clubs aren’t able to offer safe facilities and fair treatment than the question of whether the league should continue has to come into question? It has to be fair for both sides.
It does sound like we weren’t offered the best of treatment, a hot shower after a game of football in those conditions is the very least of what should of been on offer.

Re: Braintree Saturday 9th January

Judging by the tweet put out by the Braintree manager this morning it would appear that it wasn’t just on the pitch that we were a mess yesterday.

Re: Braintree Saturday 9th January

Time to see how good Mr King really is.
We’ve looked flat and boring to watch for weeks now.
The midfield creates nothing, anyone who wants to argue that Jack Jebb is better than Billy Crook than please feel free because I can’t see it myself.
Romain is a shadow of the player he was last season, and it’s Sod’s law that Vint and Sheringham are churning out motm performances every week since heading out on loan.
I’m sure he will go out and sign a few more players to paper over the cracks, maybe it’s time to start coaching the ones you have though?
Plenty of games left, let’s hope for a turn around in form soon.

I agree, our forwards have been feeding off scraps so far this season. On the game so far, Husin is just getting in the way and stifling our midfield, I would like to see him replaced with someone who can get a ball into the box. He is now bound to score.
It all just seems a bit much to me. Dropping the keeper after conceding one goal, signing Dickson when we have 4 other forwards at the club.
I’m not doubting Steve Kings ability at all, I just would prefer to see a manager coach the players he has rather than throwing his toys out of the pram everytime we lose.

Re: Tonbridge Angels (A)

They’ve resigned..
Not the outcome anyone wanted, two club legends who would of loved to take the club forward. They’ve given everything and it hasn’t worked.
Good luck to both of them, can’t see anything other than Tony in the dugout on Saturday now.
