Capricorn, your post crossed with mine as I was writing, but Spot On with your comments, which is why fans are allowed to make honest comments and opinions, without being vilified. From a distance, I have been totally impressed by SK's assessments of games, and if fans express similar thoughts and criticisms as the manager, then it shows we are on the right lines.

Re: TONBRIDGE ANGELS (H) SAT 11TH SEP 3PM
Delighted to be involved with this match, being able to listen to the match commentary. Thanks for that. Far better than having to tune in and update to a Twitter feed, which I don't normally get involved with.
I've also listened to SKs aftermatch interview on Kent Radio, and to be fair to him, he always sums up games very honestly. Results like this are going to happen throughout the season, cos as much as we would like to win by big margins every time, it just ain't going to happen, as not every player is going to perform every match at top level. It's called football. Add a local Derby into the mix, unsettling the style perhaps, but positively, we are still top of the league, still undefeated, and as the commentary said, we were the last team to lose its 100% record in the top 6 tiers of the pyramid after Spurs were smashed 3-0 by Crystal Palace in the earlier kick off. Tonbridge seemed to put in a good shift, so onwards and upwards I say!
I have already signed up to 180's forum, znd thank Rick for taking it on. Fans also need to look a bit deeper into his forum because he has a lot of facts, figures and records going back over the seasons, making fir interesting reading. So guys, don't hold back on registering with the new forum.
Gaz has done a brilliant job for the past 2 decades and has certainly been responsible for me being able to keep in contact with the club and many supporters over the years, especially as the reality is I can't get to as many games I would love to see. And age now also begins to play its part, and not withstanding covid too, or the cost of travel and interruptions.
See you over on the new forum.

Re: TONBRIDGE ANGELS (H) SAT 11TH SEP 3PM
I missed the announcement of trial commentaries at the Orient game, so will be looking to take advantage of any coverage for this game. Having just seen the Orient highlights, It was a good work for the lads. I don't think I can recall a squad so rich in depth that SK has assembled. Nevertheless, the team have to keep the levels achieved so far, including Tonbridge Angels, with players knowing if they don't perform ( and players can have an off day!), there are others able to come in seamlessly, or for reasons of team tactics. Certainly uplifting, reading of our progress this season so far. How I'd love to see the Darts back up in the Natiomal League and able to watch the northern games again.

Re: RIP Malcolm Eames
Really sad to read this news, but it has been something I have been half expecting, given his struggles over the past few years, even before isolation kicked in.
Like Trevor B, I first met Malcolm at Dartford Tech, me being a year ahead of Malcolm and Trevor B, but lost contact when I moved up to Merseyside at the end of my 3rd year. It wasn't until decades later when our paths crossed again during a visit to see the Darts playing at Stonebridge Road, and I discovered what a stalwart he had been at DFC. I can't speak of TrevorB's downwards spiral at Dart Tech, but equally, I hadn't realised that Malcolm had risen to the heady heights of Head Boy either, until we reconnected 20 years ago.
Equally, in more recent years, I used to catch up with him and others at the Paper Moon, and him more likely to be on his own at the Flying Pig when he was no longer able to visit PP due to his mobility problems.
He almost completed a circle for me, because when my family moved down from Merseyside with me as a 3 month old, after a short period in Erith, we moved to Dartford into a transitional Victorian block of flats at the top of West Hill called the Homestead, with massive gardens and orchards. This was prior to us moving up to the Temple Hill Estate when I was 5. As I subsequently discovered 10 years ago, the old house had been demolished and the whole area became an estate of bungalows for the elderly. To my surprise, Malcolm told me he had been allocated one of the properties there following his move from Swanscombe, and he was living there very happily.
Whenever I met Malcolm, he was always sporting his DFC tie. A DFC character, who sadly wasn't able to attend games in recent seasons, but nevertheless, will be remembered by many, home and away.
RIP Malcolm

And it looks like the Darts are now the only team in the National Leagues to have a 100% record after today's results. Well done Darts!!!

Re: BATH CITY (A) SAT 4TH SEP 3PM K.OFF
Great to be able to tune into an unbiased commentary of the game, well at least until about the 70th minute when I had the same problems as others losing coverage when I was receiving messages saying 'buffering'. Might that have been the result of so many Darts fans trying to tune. I have no idea as I don't understand all this media stuff! But thanks to Bath City for what they were able to broadcast.
Anyway, another excellent away win to keep us clear of the chasing pack. It has to be expected we sometimes come under pressure at some stage of any match, but once again, the Darts seemed to come on strong again towards the end on the game and another late goal.
Well played Darts. Onwards and upwards. And well done to those fans who travelled down to the game.

Great!! At least I will be able to listen to the match commentary and take in the match atmosphere when tuning into the Bath broadcast. Excellent news, as I am really missing not seeing the Darts games being streamed this season. Will be a tough game, especially after Bath's 1-5 defeat on Monday, albeit with only 10 men and they will be wanting to bounce back.

Re: Dulwich Hamlet (A) 28th August 3 P.M
I've been catching up recently on all the highlights, player interviews and SKs delayed interviews. It has been a pleasure to watch the style of play throughout the team and we are certainly far more mobile in the final third in front of goal. Delightful. A very strong group of players right across the park and plenty of quality competition for places in the starting lineups. Well done to everybody involved. We need to keep the pressure on though, cos there are still 3 other teams on maximum points, with 2 of them being other local sides!!

Re: Dulwich Hamlet (A) 28th August 3 P.M
Does anybody know if there is going to be any commentary on this match, as some clubs seem to do their own in-house broadcasts?
