Re: TONBRIDGE ANGELS (H) SAT 11TH SEP 3PM
Lacked the cutting edge that we’ve been impressed by so far. Referee was abysmal and shouldn’t really be officiating at this level. It was obvious early on that we were gonna have to beat twelve. So much so, that I missed Jebb’s strike because I was watching that tw@ in black to blow for a ‘foul’ on the keeper. There’s gonna be a few games like this, this season. We’re the team to beat. And we’re top. Keep it going lads!

I’m going 3-1 again. A comfortable first half. Second half of stress caused by an early concede then a last minute tap in!

Sadly missed this cos I, too, was on the Jurassic coast soaking up the sun. I see we ‘collapsed’ in the second half again. We really must get a grip of this appalling habit! Just kiddin!!
Wow, what a superb season this is shaping up to be! I’m absolutely loving our front line. Especially Ade! He looks the complete article!

Re: Eastbourne Borough (H) Mon 30th Aug 3pm
I must admit I too noticed a ‘dip’ after half time in three out of our four games so far but don’t say it as a criticism. If anything, it’s purely because we’ve been so ‘on fire’ during the first half of those games that ‘anything less’ would be noticeable after that. I haven’t seen a Darts team like this in the ten years I’ve been following. Happy days. And more.

It was an ugly win! Played okay but IF Dullish had put away their chances we’d have been buried. Great team effort in defence. If we’re winning games like this, it’s looking good. Great day out and the Dullish mob were good hosts. Beer on tap all around the terraces. Nice to put some forum faces to their names!

Re: Sloff (H) 21st August 2021 3 P.M
We’re witnessing something quite special here. I looked at the fixtures at the start of the season at thought we had a difficult start away at St Albans and at home to Slough. Both usually cause us problems and both likely to be challenging. We ‘destroyed’ St Albans ‘up the hill’ first half and could have been 3-0 up at half time. Yesterday we looked like scoring every time we went forward. Their keeper had a blinder and we hit the post. It could have been 6 or 7 and they are a good side! Imagine what we’re gonna do to the likes of Welling and Tonbridge! This is the best I’ve seen the Darts in the ten years I’ve been following them. Well done SK for putting together such a great squad of players. I’m loving the ‘look’ of Ade Azeez. More to come from him I’m sure. He’s a powerhouse. Bus booked for Dull Wich.

This is going to be a feature of the season. How many fixtures are going to pile up for affected clubs throughout the season. And that’s before the bad weather calls games off.Reginald Horsfield wrote: ↑Wed Aug 18, 2021 8:25 pm No Chippenham Ebbsfleet match Saturday. Covid in the Chippenham camp.

Re: St Albans (A) Sat 14th August 2021
Does anyone know if the club shop is open this morning? I’m just prepping for the day (staying with a mate in Luton) and have noticed that, since the 3-0 Chelmsford win, I’ve outgrown my 2xl Darts black polo.
Would quite like another to take to St Albans!
