Sorry Happy C but thats nonsense. We are amongst the possibles purely because of the signings you have witnessed. Have you looked at all the other teams. This is what gets me with all the so called followers. All waitiing to promote the great signings but then they we must be promoted. Total bollocks. Enough of Reg but i will leave you with this

A rather strange reply. The players Kingy has signed won't come cheap and i would suggest if we don't get promoted Kingy will not be our manager next season, but i expect us to get promoted and so i expect Kingy to be our manager next season.
It will be hard to get promoted this season in NLS, But i expect us to be up there challenging and at least make the play-off's but to say Kingy will not be our manager if we dont in my opinion is nonsense, I think Kingy is here for the long haul and has brought into the clubs future and I cannot believe the club would sack him if we dont get promoted.
I didn't say the club would sack him, but with the budget the club has given him even Kingy would be disappointed if we don't get promoted, but i say again Kingy will be with us next season because WE WILL get promoted

My only fear is if we have a injury crisis or lots of suspension, which can happen to any team, or covid raises it ugly head again

What will be the ground capacity until all restrictions are lifted?
As far as I am aware it is 1200 until further notice.
That's fine for now, but when all restrictions are lifted i expect our crowd average to be around 1600

Must have some money left then.
For a team with no money they are signing players who don't come cheap

Re: Dover Lose Their Appeal

Park Life wrote: Tue Jun 15, 2021 5:51 pm I feel they have been extremely fortunate to retain their place in the division and imo had no legitimate grounds to appeal, they should have been relegated.

They were quite happy to take the unfairly allocated hand outs from the NL for the first three months (which i believe Parmenter had a say in allocating as he was on the NL board at the time) and then when their league position looked very precarious they had no money to continue!!
If they had been near the top do you honestly believe Partmenter wouldnt have carried on? He's been quite happy funding the club for years......
Well said. The National league needs clubs like ours which in run properly, and a tin pot club like Dover

Great news as far as I'm concerned. Other clubs played on and if Dover couldn't afford too they shouldn't be in the league they are in.
In my opinion a horrible club with a owner/chairman who thinks the rules don't apply to him and his club and though he is a ex Dart Hessy is a nasty piece of work if he doesn't get his own way

WOW, two big signings :D :D

And another well done to the DFC media team for the videos and the way they've introduced the new players, great work.
I suspect Robinson at 34 years of age he will only be with us for one season to get us promoted with the goals he will score.

Only when it suited them........
Very true
Where do Dover stand for the upcoming 2021/2022 season, having had their record expunged for last season for non-performance of fixtures? Are they going to start all over again as if nothing happened? If so, that doesn't seem much of a punishment.
Probably I'm sorry to say.
I think I'm right is saying that they are part time from next season, but with their refusal to play games they should have been relegated along with teams in the NLS and the NLN.
To play at our level and above you need money and ambition and the teams that don't have that shouldn't be at our level and above.
