Reginald Horsfield wrote: Sat Jan 25, 2020 11:16 pm What thread should I put this on ? Not sure. I'm of the belief that we are in the midst of a momentous period in the clubs history. And I mean history. I beg that all fans and the board do not let this opportunity slip us by. Steve King is quite simply, at least, the best non league manager in the business. The board made the move in his appointment which I thank. They are the greatest people anyone could wish and are second to none. From TB and Dave Skinner and the leading goalscorer in the league walking football in Lord Irving we cannot get any better. I love you all as we all do and want to say well..... thank you.
P.s I may get chastised again but flans and Coylie were great people to employ. It's a football journey that we all enjoy and about to enjoy further , but dont forget just how they want us to succeed . Dont forget
Probably deserves its own thread but covered ground. I would say, (and suspect many others also) that C & F should have gone at the end of last season. Just imagine where we would be if we had SK from the start of the season. It does not matter to me whether C & F were 'nice chaps', its a results business.
"P.s I may get chastised again but flans and Coylie were great people to employ."

Please, please explain exactly why they were great people to employ? You say some stupid things at times Reg, Arthur, whatever,.... but really!

Well I, for one, am certainly looking forward to next seasons festive double-header against Dover.

I hope he is in the manager’s thinking going forward even if we will have to endure this exasperating debate again and again.
So exasperating a debate that you just had to add to it?

If we’re going forward by relying on Hayes then we’re in pretty bad shape for the future.

If that's true then that'll be him excluded from the directors list of possibles.

A word for Arthur, his staunch support of the duo was admirable, even if many disagreed or thought him misguided. I'm sure who ever comes in will get the same backing from him.

No, we don't.

At the end of the season before last we finished equal top on points, scoring loads more goals than anyone and had good cup runs, only a hooky game and a shootout saw us not get promoted - but the moaners shouted it wasn't good enough, couldn't get any worse and TB had to go - so he did

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 366832.stm

Constant whining and criticism does get people down and demoralise them and affects performance and results, if you don't understand that you don't understand much.

Well, this time last year you moaners even said it was right to change even after a bad start even after doing as good as we could hope for so here we are again, more of the same all round. Let's face it, if you've been moaning for ten years you won't stop ever so well done in helping turn a feared team into a laughing stock.

No mentions of me repeating myself now, as you moaners have been whining and moaning for over ten years, I've got some catching up to do.

Supporter - noun - a person who approves of and encourages....

We deserve it, reap what you sow
So you do admit we are a laughing stock, then?

Interesting that you fail to name all those moaners who specifically wanted the current incumbents to take charge. Dartford appointed them, shouldn't they take the blame?

See you on Tuesday.
Indeed, in fact just a tiny bit faster than it has taken the rosetinters to attack someone for having an opinion on the current state of affairs that differs from their own. Good work!
I didn’t see the game yesterday so I cannot really comment on the performance, but what I can comment on is the ridiculous defeatism shown by a minority before the match had actually finished? For crying out loud, it was the first game of the season and we lost, and so there’s already talk of relegation?
Trust me Mr Handshandy I am no “Rosetinter” (is there such a word?) I will give an opinion and anybody is free to respond, that’s why it’s called a forum for debate.

If after 10-15 games and we are still looking sh*t and are losing on a regular basis then is the time to start talking about relegation and all that is wrong with the world, but until then shall we get matters into perspective? Win Tuesday and everything will be rosy again. Fickle!!

Must say; as pseudonyms go yours seems very Apt. Good work! ;)
Thank you for explaining what a forum is and what we can do in it, how would we survive without you? However don't you think you're being a tiny bit presumptuous calling people "fickle" before they've had a chance to actually make comment on an event that hasn't even happened yet?

Last 5 away league results: 0-2, 1-3, 0-6, 1-2, 1-4. Hopefully our form will look much better after 10-15 games.
