Re: BATH CITY (A) SAT 4TH SEP 3PM K.OFF
Just checked the odds on Bet Victor - I have £50 @ 9/2 on the Darts to win the League - odds after only 5 games see us down to 6/4 with it being 6/1 bar

Re: BATH CITY (A) SAT 4TH SEP 3PM K.OFF
The the difference between a good and a great side is not what they do when on top in the game but how they react to being under pressure. Yesterday Bath, at times, put us under a lot of pressure but everyone played a full part in defending, an outstanding display. Dan is getting the majority of the votes for MOM but when he was beaten on two occasions defenders got back to clear the line - of and they hit the post in the first half as well. So we were under some serious pressure.
Then the substitutions changed our dynamic up front and Bath couldn't cope with that and were ripped apart on the break. Great perception from SK to make the changes when he did.
The passion from all the players was so evident at the end of the match.

Re: BATH CITY (A) SAT 4TH SEP 3PM K.OFF
What a great day!!
First time I've been able to watch the Darts under Steve King. Expected a lot as a result and was not disappointed. Bath were a quality side and their 17 was their standout player IMHO - can't see how Mr Flapper, their keeper, hit MOM....
Really clued up manager calling the shots with some game changing substitutions. Quality players all workng for each other and some great defending and goalkeeping when we were under the cosh in the second half. Yes, Bath were on top for long periods but Darts got the impressive result they deserved - the scoreline says it all.
At the end the players didn't just come and celebrate with the fans - the whole collective showed real passion demonstrating they expect to get results like this regularly because they (to nick sometime else's phrase) believe in the process
A real feeling of being in at the early stages of something exceptional.
Great to see all my Dartford friends - I've really missed the camaraderie since abandoning my turnstile and moving to Taunton six years ago

Re: Dorking Saturday 7 November
Why are you giving Dartford the flack - it's Dorking who claim all these people are 'staff'. Can anyone actually prove otherwise on the day? I think this is down to the authorities to raise serious questions...........

Re: Fa cup 2nd qualifying
Gate receipts were always split 50/50 on FA Cup games at this stage after the home side had deducted their expenses - at least that was the way when I worked out these things when Greenwich Borough ground-shared at Princes Park. I can see no reason why this would have changed and as there is no crowd I wonder whether the live stream income would be split as a result?
