Traffic really affected the crowd but to still get 1,004 shows we have made big progress from previous years. Definitely get close to 1,500 against Eastbourne bank holiday.

Re: Braintree Saturday 9th January
On the Jebb point, I agree he was poor, his set pieces weren’t up to scratch and is a bit too much like a passenger in away games. I’d rather a more energetic CDM to play there because we lack urgency. Marsh Brown was also too much like a passenger unfortunately. Both players have talent but we need a change up.
King really needs to think over our system because we aren’t getting enough out of our strikers. Sheringham has 5 in 5 at Chelmsford so it shows that it’s our system which is the problem. It seriously needs to be shaken up or we’ll throw this title challenge away soon. Warning signs have been evident ever since that Eastbourne away performance and continued against Haringey. A real think up needed.

Has anyone else been quite impressed by Vint this pre season? I would personally have him in contention to start, I think he’s been good

Tyriqye hyde on trial at Dulwich. Really surprised by this given that theyre a lower end NLS team, albeit full time training club.

Re: Wealdstone Pre Season Friendly 3pm Sat. 5th Sept
I'm pretty sure the trialist LB was Gavin Mccallum (ex welling with King).
I thought he looked good, as did the second half RB. But im not sure we need another right back though? We have wynter and barnum bobb there.
Wasn't really too impressed by the trialist striker second half. Spurned a great chance but to be fair he put himself about.
Any idea who the names of the RB and ST are?

I think Brodie will go out on loan. That would leave us with 15 players with 5 more additions at least.

Re: Players in/Players out 2020-2021
King wants 5 more singings at least. I think that will be to add another striker, two more wingers, a ball winning central midfielder (Noble) and another central midfielder (Wynter can play that role and at right back).
Once we get there’s 5 positions covered I think we’re set.

Re: Players in/Players out 2020-2021
Really don’t understand why the club don’t put a statement out on social media when a player has left the club. We’ve seen Hayes, Pugh, Blackman, Nash, Crook and Wanadio all leave but we find out through other clubs when they’ve signed. Is it too much to ask if we could find out they’ve gone before they’re announced elsewhere?
