Re: BATH CITY (A) SAT 4TH SEP 3PM K.OFF

If you offered me five wins out of five to kick the season off, I'd have been over the moon. Given the calibre of the oppostion, it looks even better. You have to imagine some bumps in the road, but right now, the is just magic.

Re: RIP Raymond Rose

Very sad news . Your dad got to see some quality Dartford sides - The Coupland team were special. It's so sad to see a member of the Dartford family pass on, but you will have some dpecisl memories with him to cherish and hopefully he can watch us from above.
RIP

Great start to the season. And all against teams with a bit of pedigree. Happy days.

Re: The playing squad for next season

genuinely looking forward to this season - you never know what surprises other squads will have until it starts in ernest but to me, it looks as if we have a really decent looking squad. If we can keep them together for the whole season we should be right up there at the end of the season.
Here's hoping anyway.

Re: The playing squad for next season

Looking forward to next season (from afar). It was hard to keep track last season but from my home in exile, I got a very strong impression we were in continual overhaul, as we were constantly picking up new players and letting them go after a month, and it didn't seem to help - you never know how it will pan out but we looked nailed on for a play off spot, but with no consistancy to grab top spot.
While we clearly have a great manager, I hope we can set up a team this season and let them gel. And if we can get a prolific striker in, and feed him, we should be among the favourite's to go up.

Wow even happier about that as the BBC had us having lost 5-3 on penalties, when twitter said 5-5. Great result, great come back, on we go.

Or maybe they could all be proud of how they turned our season around, and the play off performances at Slough and Havant. You do remember how bad things looked after the defeat at Tonbridge?
Today is a kick in the bollix for everyone, including the team. But they did us proud.
