Re: DFC Women's Team Thread
I am really looking forward to supporting the DFC Women at Princes Park tomorrow - loved sponsoring the Ladies the other season, when frankly the Club didn't really put into the Women's football and it cost my company a fair bit, which now that they are doing £50 and £40 sponsors to help the team makes me realise I was rinsed! Never mind, I am proud of the fact that maybe that sponsorship was a turning point, for the Board & DFC as a whole to respect and put Women's football on the agenda. All the best to the Ladies tomorrow - I'll be cheering you on.

Re: 4Roles4Goals - Not For Profit at DFC
Sorry you thought there was a lot of jargon - which is because we are looking for Businesses to sponsor events and therefore they need to know what's in it for them.
Businesses, Sole Traders and Organisations get the benefit of off setting the cost of sponsorship against their tax bill as it is marketing and advertising, DFC get their payment of the match sponsorship and most importantly we tailor the day to the individuals taking part.
No, we don't teach brick laying, we show the different careers and industries which are out there so that the individuals can consider roles and careers which they may not even know are out there! We help Young People work out their next steps if needed and whether that is brick laying, project management or scaffolding etc, we show that there is more to construction than traditional roles such as brick laying!
The best explanation of what we do is through the Press Team Reports - the Young People tell you all about the experience - so take a look at one or all of them!
Really hope this explains - and thank you for the comment. As a not for profit and new business, we need to know how to ensure we attract Young People to take part too, so it is handy to know!
Thanks again!

4Roles4Goals - Not For Profit at DFC
Diligence (PM) Services Ltd had joined forces with Burning2Learn in a new service and project to change the way the construction industry works with schools to give careers advice. This initiative was so successful that it grew bigger and needed to develop as a new Not For Profit business. On 6 April 2018, 4Roles4Goals Ltd was registered!
#4Roles4Goals is an initiative enabling Young People to bridge the gap between education and the workplace by interaction and achievement.
We use Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds from businesses to provide a joint initiative and, importantly, provide quantifiable evidence of funds being used exactly where it should be. All parties involved in the initiative receive the evidence of the day for audit or reference purposes.
The idea of #4Roles4Goals is to ensure all the following components are delivered together:
1. Community - Dartford FC has been our first sports partner. Their commitment to the community and the UK's first all purpose sustainable small stadium, makes this Club different!
2. Education (Burning2Learn is our education partner, this is what makes our interactive work experience so different. Participants don't realise they are learning, while enjoying!)
3. Careers/Business (providing the sponsorship and potentially gaining relationships for further work experience with the company, or indeed jobs)
4. Construction (our industry). We hope other Kent & Medway Construction Guild members and the wider Business Communities across Kent, take part to demonstrate their effort to reduce the skills gap.
Add to this the 30,000+ Twitter impressions and 4Roles4Goals team doing ALL paperwork, including Photo/Film/Text permission forms and articles for the Match Day programme, plus the approvals and publication of the output from the day and you'll find the initiative is more than value for money! It's promotional, ethical and valued by all.
Please find out more by contacting the Team using the contact us form, which will be sent on to 4Roles4Goals@gmail.com
