I am not going to comment on the game. I am getting depressed and so I am looking for things to lift the gloom.
Was it only us that noticed that Steve King had come to todays match dressed as Toad of Toad Hall?

Re: Kingstonian (H) FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round
The first 40 minutes was one of the worst performances I have seen from a Dartford side. We looked much better in the 2nd half but the damage was done.
I am not sure the new full back, Jordan? has played football before. In the middle you can feel the loss of players like Bradders and Noble who win the ball for you. Lightweight McQueen remains a concern though I think when Pugh is fully fit and Charlie is back we will look much better. Out wide, lots of tricks and step overs but no end result, no decent final ball into the box. All in all I think the season is going to be long, hard and a bit depressing. I hope I am wrong.

Re: Slough Town
How can the same team perform so differently between 1st and 2nd halves.

Re: Tonbridge Angels (A)
Last year I knew would be a transition season but I genuinely expected this season would be when we could really judge the new management structure. Well the jury may still be out but I expect them back soon and it is not looking good. Let's hope tomorrow we can see some evidence that changes minds but to be clear a good performance is not enough it needs to be points now not "it was a positive performances but we sill lost"

Re: Chelmsford (A) - 12th August
It can't be a crisis after 4 games and a 0-4 loss is only the same number of points as a 0-1 loss. If we agree that it is not yet a crisis at what point does it become one? I think 10 matches is too long if they are such big score lines, I suggest 2 more big losses and we are in crisis territory

I very rarely criticise manager(s) but substitutions today looked insane.

Re: Eastbourne Borough - Easter Saturday
We were a bit gutted we couldn't go to the match today. Starting to think it was lucky we stayed at home, few things more miserable than the journey back after a poor performance and this is sounding like a pretty dreadful 1st half.
Let's hope we are much much better in the 2nd half
