Re: Strikers
Occasionally like ttb above, there's bullshit about Boris, that's got nought to do with football, or this football club.

Re: What a crap tie
The Tie was redesigned and updated in 2013, to coincide with our 125th Anniversary. Maybe we should have a new DFC silk mask, these days?

Re: Petition to allow supporters back into stadiums
Sorry to put a spanner in...
We all want our stadia to reopen and can understand wide frustrations, like mine. However, we're all guided and protected in this deadly pandemic by eminent and experienced virologists and public health scientists. They in turn use governments as their Messengers. They have their work cut out, by constantly being vigilant, as to how this Covid19 virus may develop and affect us all. As we now know, from all over the planet, direct / indirect contacts can spread it to the more or lesser vulnerable on a. (I can sadly account for my most loved ones' losses to this virus). Hence, it's been calculated that we have to severely limit our fellow human contacts, while we still await wide 'herd' immunity. Governments are thankfully arguing to keep open certain sections of our community and economy. But for governments' interventions and damage limitations, we should have been locked down completely, for a specific / longer time, just to stop further spread and avoid more griefs.
Alas amongst crowd reduction measures, us football - mad herd of humans, are paying the price and being restricted (Amongst Thousands of Others, who may be worse off). The aim, as we know, is to break this vicious viral cycle and release us all eventually, with the proven vaccination. Maybe this petition will lead to a crowd limit, after debate?
One final point:
The latest news of a worse case scenario comes from Belgium, amongst others. All bars (& Pubs), restaurants are being closed down for 4 Weeks, just to reduce the alarming and vastly risen cases... Do we want this? Or open our Bericote Power House Princes Park Stadium and risk an even more massive, prolonged outbreak?
