I'd be surprised with a squad of 20 if there is any more budget available unless we get a loanee in or do some wheeling and dealing which is probably unlikely at this stage.

Re: Players in/Players out 2020-2021

Just listened to the Steve King interview via Twitter and it sounds like we've signed American goalkeeper Ethan Wady on loan from Chelsea.
https://www.chelseafc.com/en/teams/academy/ethan-wady

Mini gripe is that I wish the club's official website would actually be updated with all player incomings and outgoings. Continues to be poor.

That takes our squad up to 20 players:

King
Wady (on loan from Chelsea)

Braham-Barrett
Barnum-Bobb
Bonner
Hill
Vint
Essam
Wynter

Barham
Berkeley-Agyepong
Brodie
Fernandes (on loan from Colchester United)
Husin
Ijaha
Jebb
Marsh-Brown
Modeste

Romain
Sheringham

Looks a strong squad for this division. I'd perhaps add one or two more forwards and Noble and then I think we're set.

Re: Dartford Players of The Past

Luke just posted this on Twitter....

Luke Eley @lukeeley96
Truly gutted that I’ve been asked to leave @dartfordfc never wanted to leave wanted to get dartford out this run! Many thanks to the fans as I’ve only heard positive comments no negative and maybe in the future I’ll be back ? all ways gave 100 percent and wish u guys all the best

Think the club need to come forward and actually give the fans a reason as to why both he and Nasha have left, rather than these rubbish statements they issue that give no information whatsoever

A bit about it and the lack of fit strikers for Saturday on Kent Messenger this morning https://www.kentonline.co.uk/dartford/s ... wn-209575/

Means we only have 14 players fit and available from the first team squad to pick from for game one. Not a great way to start.

(Smith, Bonner, Hill, Vint, Warner-Eley, Wynter, Allen, Brodie, Greenhalgh, Hayes, Nasha, Noble, Wanadio and Pugh)

I don’t want to be the one that burst any bubbles here, but if I recall, we were having this same optimism last season with our new signings? Only time will tell if our management can blend this current crop of players into a title challenging team?
Well who is a little ray of sunshine this morning then ;) ;)
