Re: TONBRIDGE ANGELS (H) SAT 11TH SEP 3PM

Back to the match now πŸ™„

The usual honest assessment by Kingy. Fair play to Tonbridge who deserved thier point. We weren't up to the standards reached so far this season, just the occasional flashes... like Jebby's cracking goal! Bagadan didn't do enough, his first touches and delivery were poor. I'm a bit suprised we didn't start with Danny Leonard wide right against CBB. When he came on CBB fouled him and got booked within 5 minutes and we looked much better.
Motm for me was Meade, excellent at full back.

Im sorry Duke i really cant have that shite. Hollywood balls . FO Duke Reg gets slaughtered for his posts but in truth that is cish
Here is a good reason for not registering for the new forum. And it's not Duke.
Agee 100%. Reg is a tool.
I have to agree The Don. Even by his usual poor standards, this latest outburst by Reg is bang out of order. How dare he question The Duke's loyalty to DFC.

I may not always agree with The Duke's views, but they always make for significantly more interesting reading than Reg's incessant drivel πŸ˜’. I know I'm not alone in hoping he doesn't register for the new forum.

Re: Pure DFC Announcement - Gary C stepping down

Agreed, thanks 180. Many of us prefer this forum, but the club obviously thinks that Twitter is all that matters, so thanks again for taking it on Rick otherwise we would lose quite a few online followers.

Of course thanks also to Gary for setting up and running the forum for all these years πŸ‘

Re: Eastbourne Borough (H) Mon 30th Aug 3pm

Like a couple of other posters, my first game back at PP for a couple of years. What a first half, totally outclassed them, and could have been 4 or 5. Silly mistake at the start of the second half gifted them a lifeline and suddenly their confidence grew. Darts slowly regained control and Ade's excellent header secured the points.

Class all over the pitch for the Darts, and a benchful of class too! Boy, this is one hell of a squad that Kingy has assembled, and I'm looking forward to the next match already πŸ˜€

Totally agree Gregg, usually the first two or three weeks of the new season always had midweek league fixtures. I don't see why not this season?

spike wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 9:47 pm ......bloody well serves them right. You can't accept all the handouts and then unilaterally refuse to play and expect to get away scot free. They should be extremely grateful they weren't relegated.
I totally agree Spike, a Β£248,000 handout and they "couldn't afford to play". They should hand that back too!
