Re: RIP Malcolm Eames
Very sad news, I have just told my parents of Malcolm's passing and they remember him and his sister very well. His sister ended up moving to Laddingford, which was the next village along from Yalding, which is where I moved to. Sincere condolences to his family and friends from the Young & Aldous family.

I'm 100% sure that their goal was down to over sprinkling on that part of the pitch at halftime, I mentioned this to my nephew before our opponents scored. Maybe we should just water the areas we are attacking and not defending. Very well played yesterday.
As for Reg, I can live with his multiple personality disorder. Parky is working miracles.

Re: RIP Dave Eden (Charlieboy)
Best known for his VHS videos from Watling Street in the late 80s, early 90s. Before he passed away, he sent me a private message, giving me his blessing to upload some of his old footage, which I will over time. God bless you Dave, sincere condolences to friends and family.

Re: Roger Giles - RIP
One of the most recognizable faces behind the goal, will be very much missed and like Kebabus says "one of the stalwarts from the Watling Street era". God bless Roger and so sorry for your loss Gilesy.

Re: Thanks James Hawkins
James was probably the one positive that we can take from this season. Thank you for the tremendous effort and hopefully we can find another budding football reporter that links the supporters to the management.

Re: National League North & South suspended for two weeks
In a twisted kind of way, I quite like Jim Parmenter and as "The Duke" has already pointed out, he is only doing what is best for Dover. Whether you like him or not, he is quite a character, maybe even a vile one at that. Their wage bill is around 25k per week, of which 85% is related to the playing staff, so I don't blame him for pulling the plug. Added to this, the family business has been hit hard by the pandemic.

Re: National League North & South suspended for two weeks
I couldn't agree more Dave. Time to shut up shop and save some much-needed funds for next season. The club should not bankrupt itself by letting a few mates kick a ball around a park on a Saturday afternoon.

Re: National League North & South suspended for two weeks
This season should never have started and has descended into chaos. I wanted the season to finish but in light of our Kent rivals furloughing their teams, I think we should follow suit. If our board are wise, they should do what is right for the future of our great club.
