In 2 minds about this team

Good to see some trialists in, including a GK to try and sort the defensive issues we have had. But at the same time at this stage of pre season would've expected close to what would be our team on Saturday, this seems far from it

I was not expecting that lineup either. What concerns me most is the fact that there are so many trialist, especially at the back, which suggests that Dowse isn't entirely happy with his new signings. On the flip side, he may well find a suitable replacement for Tom.

Just returned from holiday and the team line up is not a surprise at all to me.
Its only four days until our first game and most of the squad played Saturday so i would suggest Dowse does not want to risk too many and has used this game to get minutes in for those who need it.
I'm sure he said as such in one of his interviews.

It’s a balance between being worried - what I think is fair - and the real stuff that starts Saturday.
If we put in a decent performance Saturday and win then this game means nothing.
If we don’t then it’s a justification of the concerns.
All will be revealed, bring it on.
