Bulpit Lane has been a tough place to go for us since our first trip there in 2017. Another opponent in the relegation zone needing the points and a group of teams trying to catch us in second. Can we come home with only our second victory at Hungerford Town? Here's the match preview https://puredfc.co.uk/hungerford-town-v-dartford-2

Once again I am not very confident tonight based on recent results. Especially considering our record at Hungerford

We need a nice win to get the confidence back both within the fanbase and I assume the team too!! Other teams around us won't keep letting us off.

Oh and hopefully we announce a striker signing? Dowse said in the Weymouth post match that he had one all but done that fell through at the last minute so hopefully he's managed to get one across the line

I think Dowse has to swallow his pride and play Herschel. You simply can't abandon a player who is a goal threat and creator to boot. Both player and manager need to bang their heads together for the benefit of the club.

No new striker then and Wilks back in goal. Clearly doesn’t feel that worked out either

To be fair I never understood why Wilks was dropped in the first place. Happy to see him back.

The lack of new striker worries me

Same here. Glad Dan is back in the sticks. Best we’ve had for yonks. I guess there is a dearth of quality strikers out there at this point of the season. I’m ‘accepting’ the reality of another season in this division and with a mega push next season. Dowse will know the expectations will be through the roof.

I agree with you, I don't want Dowse to go down the King route and bring in someone just for the sake of it. I much prefer knowing the majority of the squad each weekend.

Personally I can't be too disappointed if we do stay in this league next season, my expectations when evaluating the squad and other teams at the start of the season was a lower playoff position so as long as nothing drastic happens, Dowse has met my expectations.

I think that a lot of fans [ incl me] cannot understand why a Club like Dartford is NOT attractive to a proven striker as it has been obvious all season that the only striker worth his salt was Charlie Sheringham, who scores goals , puts in a good shift but unfortunately has had 2 lengthy injury spells this season , none of the other strikers have met the standards

Months ago Dowse told us we have Budget money spare so why not spend it buying a proven striker and paying him a good wage , might have upset a few of our lads but recent performances suggest it was all too comfortable

Bit of [ on paper] a weakened side tonight but hey ho who knows , could be a glorious 3pts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nb Glad Wilks is back he is a much better keeper than Dudinski !!!!

Seen them turn this around several times this year, Worthing are a tough nut though.
