Maidstone captain leaves and drops 3 divisions!

Maidstone United captain Joe Ellul has left the club and signed for Isthmian South East side Sittingbourne. The Stones released him on the understanding that he does not play for any other club at National or National South level this season.

Typical petty Maidstone , I can understand them not wanting him to go to a Conference Premier Club as it may harm their chances on staying up [ FFS are they living in the real world !!!! ] but him going to a NLS Club is irrelevant and means he will not get as much pay as surely his 100% commitment to Maidstone deserves !!!!

He would have been a good addition for us this season
