Reminds me of when Soccer AM was good, they would have the New Years staff dance-off with a vote in which “Don’t care” always did rather well!
My cast went to Sonupe in the end, but the child in me really wanted to give it to PL too (and don’t be surprised if others do!)

Really enjoyable game,end to end,lots of 'enthusiastic' tackles without being nasty,class & fitness told. They must be a right handful in their league.Got soaked waiting for an Uber that didn't fancy the monsoon but that's entertainment

A few over zealous tackles and lack of official control apart, Newham gave it a real go this evening giving more evidence to the rise in the standard of play throughout the football pyramid.

They did well to take the lead twice but once they fell behind that extra bit of class, along with our composure told along with our fitness as the energy and speed of the opposition, who had run themselves into the ground, fell victim to cramp in the second half.

The introduction of Dan Roberts made a huge impact to the direction of the game.

And what a great goal by Emmanuel Sonupe. Definately one to watch for the future.

The Match thread was entertainment in itself.

A good opportunity to play those who didn't start on Saturday plus a few youngsters in what turned out to be a very competitive match. Athletic Newham were well up for it and showed a lot of promise, but in the end they started to run out of steam and bringing on Dan Roberts was too much for them to cope with. Still it was a closer game than the score might suggest. Ridiculous deluge of rain at the end, and I'm sure the ref cut the game short to avoid further saturation. Sonupe my MOTM

I would leave it mate, i'm quite happy to stand aside on this occasion

Personally i would disregard my votes and just count the others as normal, it's clear who would have won it anyway.
