Excellent. Now let’s knock in the winner and avoid any extra time and penalties.

MOTM either Sonupe Dogg for his quality strikes or Dan Roberts for his impact. Boy did it come down at the end of the game!

Newham gave it a go
Sonupe looked promising Dan Roberts was always gonna come on and score against tiring legs luke always a threat with kedman
Must admit never seen a keeper with bigger hands thought he was using the foam hands they use at darts lol

Right, so I don't know how to edit the poll to remove Park Life (I didn't think anyone other than me would vote for him LOL). It won't happen again. If the two other people that voted for him can PM me with a real vote, then I will add the votes to the "The Leach/Towersey Memorial Shield Thread 2021/22" stats" thread when the voting closes. Thanks.

Ha, maybe slightly naïve there Rick!
Reminds me of when Soccer AM was good, they would have the New Years staff dance-off with a vote in which “Don’t care” always did rather well!
My cast went to Sonupe in the end, but the child in me really wanted to give it to PL too (and don’t be surprised if others do!)

Really enjoyable game, end to end, lots of 'enthusiastic' tackles without being nasty, class & fitness told. They must be a right handful in their league.Got soaked waiting for an Uber that didn't fancy the monsoon but that's entertainment

A few over zealous tackles and lack of official control apart, Newham gave it a real go this evening giving more evidence to the rise in the standard of play throughout the football pyramid.
They did well to take the lead twice but once they fell behind that extra bit of class, along with our composure told along with our fitness as the energy and speed of the opposition, who had run themselves into the ground, fell victim to cramp in the second half.
The introduction of Dan Roberts made a huge impact to the direction of the game.
And what a great goal by Emmanuel Sonupe. Definately one to watch for the future.
