With only 7 games to go and Maidstone having an 11 point lead, the Stones would have to undergo a collapse of cataclysmic proportions for us to catch them now. With a gap of 14 points and a game in hand separating ourselves from the team in 8th place, it would require an even bigger collapse for the Darts to miss out on the play-offs. Only the most pedantic of mathematicians would even consider either of these scenarios to be a realistic possibility. So it would seem it's now all about jostling for position in the play-offs. Dorking will feel they could still clinch the title if they finish the season strongly, but they have wobbled a little lately and if they lose any more ground, it wouldn't surprise me to see the heads drop so that we could catch them and grab that all important 2nd place. Of course, that would still depend on ourselves putting a run of victories together. At the very least, we need to secure 3rd spot and guarantee a pass straight into the semi-finals and at Princes Park. It is therefore absolutely vital we win this game with Hemel and maintain the gap between ourselves and the chasing pack of Eastbourne, Ebbsfleet & Oxford. Performance doesn't matter on Saturday, it's a win at all costs game. Let's do our bit by making some noise and getting behind the boys.

With the exception of probably Slough and Braintree (at the moment), the rest of the teams we have to play have something to play for, whether that's trying to get home advantage in the playoffs, reaching the playoffs or avoiding relegation. Hemel Hempstead Town are one of those who can still make the playoffs and here's the match preview - https://puredfc.co.uk/

Lets hope for a solid performance and three points. Finishing 3rd should be our aim now with anything else a welcome bonus. Craig King has been in good form for them-apparently MOM in 3 recent games. Hope he gets a good welcome(not sure if many of the kids will even know he played for us!) but also that he is picking the ball out of the back of the net on a few occasions!
I assume Samir is ineligible so a chance for Hydey or Luke...or both if Kieran plays CB again!

Looking forward to tuning into the commentary. Missed it not being available in some recent matches.
Certainly reaching the critical part of the season now as the games begin to run out, and I'm sure there will be a few twists and turns before it all finishes over these last few games. We Darts know what we have to do.

A good solid performance is needed today. Not sure that this game will suit Kieran at the back as HH are a lot more savvy than a Margate team. No disrespect to Margate in saying that, they were fast on the break but the difference in leagues was there to be seen.
Luke and Tyrique to start for me with Kory at the back with Tom, injuries permitting.

I would have thought there's zero chance of Kieran playing at the back since he only played there to protect Kory and Tom B, specifically so they'd be available for the run in.

It looks like the apathy virus has struck the entire team. Dismal first half.
