We must not underestimate this lot.
Taylor will have a game plan and we will need to be aware of this.
There are NO easy games in this league.
After our brilliant result against webbed feet
we need to build on our return to form.

Agree with you Barry, this won't be a 6-0 job achieved at Welling. Peter will have them up for a game, hopefully it still won't be enough. Steve will have us up and running for this one.

If the players get the same support they did Tuesday night against Ebbsfleet then they should certainly be firing on all cylinders.

It always worries me a bit when we start saying we mustn't underestimate our opponents. I understand why we are saying it, but the very fact that we ARE implies that we think they are worthy of being underestimated. The 6-0 drubbing is ancient history. From what I've seen this season anyone can beat anyone and we'd do well to remember the difference between the two Maidstone games as an example of how things can turn around if you let your standards slip. At our best we are as good as anyone in this league but this is an ultra competitive division and from what I've seen, our more difficult games haven't seemed to have any correlation to where teams sit in the table. After two very good back to back wins it's understandable that confidence is high, but let's just make sure we ARE at our best in which case the confidence will be justified.

Third local derby on the trot and be great if we can get the victory and keep our decent run of results going.
Have we ever played three local derby's on the trot??

Welling will be a completely different proposition to our meeting earlier this season but we should be going into the game full of confidence and be on the front foot right from kick off. The wide players make such a difference for us when they are playing well and have played a major part in our good results under Steve.

Steve has said he is looking for a few new faces to replace the recent departures but no announcements yet so may have to be patient, however the squad we have is very good so if he can get someone in he thinks will improve it i'd be very happy.

Hoping for a crowd of over 1500 and if the atmosphere is anything like Tuesday it should be great.

COYD

The sub is Che Krabbendam and not "Krabbenbam" as listed on the team sheet.
Chris Palmer our match reporter confirmed this on Twitter for me.

2-1 Welling. We've not looked good at the back, giving the ball away constantly.

I guess Tom Bonner has left a big hole which Connor & Kory just aren’t filling. I’m guessing Bonzo has a knock from Tuesday night.
