Couldn’t write it! Hope the player is ok. Wonder if the 0-0 will stand?

Looks like it was 60 ish minutes when it happened, so unlikely to stand I would of thought with 30 minutes to play that's quite a significant amount.

Truro v Eastbourne abandoned after 58 minutes for to a serious injury to Finney of Eastbourne. Ref took players off pitch whist a stretcher was called for and both clubs medics gave treatment.

Not what you want to hear at any match

Firstly, I hope that the player involved is OK and makes a full recovery.

I recall an away game in Kent against a team in yellow many years ago when the ref was pursuaded to abandon a game late in the second half with our opponents down to ten men and Dartford one goal to the good. The pitch was wet, but no worse thyan when the game started. The score did not stand and the eventual re-match saw us lose heavilly and our defeat on the last day of the season saw us relegated.

This game will doubtless have to be played again. Hopefully the eventual result will see at least one of these two relegated. If they are not, we may be.

Truro really are beginning to face a fixture issue. They have thirteen games to play and I believe that Saturday 20 April is due to be the last date for fixtures, unless an extension is granted. However, the play-off contenders need to be considered, especially if any of them are due to play Truro still. That final date is just 32 days away.

Sat 23-Mar; Tue 26-Mar; Fri 29-Mar; Mon 01-Apr; Thu 04-Apr; Sat 06-Apr; Tue 09-Apr; Thu 11-Apr Sat 13-Apr; Tue 16-Apr; Thu 18-Apr Sat 20-Apr

This schedule still leaves one game outstanding. It looks like they may need to play a double-header on the final weekend to complete their season. I begin to feel a sense of deja-vu. This is the scenario we faced in the Gola League (I believe) when we played away at Northwich Victoria on the Saturday afternoon and Runcord on Sunday morning. We beat Northwich 4-3, but defeat at Runcorn (the champoions) saw us relegated.

Taunton Town v Chippenham very much on tonight.

Talk at Wordsworth Drive is of Torquay facing a further points deduction for fielding ineligible players -trying to find out more about it

Apparently Torquay fielded and intelligible player against Aveley - a match that was drawn 2-2

If that is the case it'll be just the 1 point deducted right? I believe Welling got the same punishment in a previous season

If we can beat this clown Saturday we go 3 points behind them with a game in hand. Many reasons to be desperate for a win but this adds to that.

Probably have to forfeit the games they can’t fit in.
