Last time we played this lot, one of one of their players was knocked out by the breeze then ended up on Love Island!

It's probably one of the matches of the day in the division, Oxford City are going well and we need to find our form again. Read the preview at https://puredfc.co.uk/

I think you do them an injustice M1. I think it was 5.
Not to be sniffed at, they will obviously attack and what with our defence :? :o :( .
They have the guy who was scoring at St Albans two seasons ago who then went to Havant & W last season. Didn't get much of a look-in there and ended up at City. Inefano (forgive me) or something like it. And he's starting to score goals again. So watch out defence.
Going to be close unless we make a complete hash of it. We must score 2. :)

We need to bounce back ASAP but I fear that SK will stick with three of our luxury midfielders, plus the bizarre decision to leave our most influential player on the bench. We desperately need more pace and mobility and I was half expecting to hear the return of Hyde this week. Anyway, looking forward to the game and some more stories from "The Duke".

I also thought it was bizarre leaving Leonard on the bench as I said in my post after Chippenham, and I've also been saying for a while about Hyde that he should have been recalled and playing in the side, is it coincidence how Hemel have picked up dramatically since Hyde has gone there, on their Twitter feed after their Tuesday night win, their supporters gave high praise about Hyde and he also created the pass for their winning goal.

I couldn't agree with you more DD, give me a player who drives his team forward as opposed to the short sideways pass! Don't get me wrong, the likes of Jebb, Murtagh & Husin are very good players in their own right but playing the three together in the same lineup is a luxury we cannot afford when you are struggling for points. Out of the three, I would keep Husin and bring back Leonard & Allen. The one positive from the game last week was George Porter, who put in a decent shift in the middle. COYD.

Totally agree , play Murtagh and 1 out of Husin and Jebb[ I prefer Husin] in centre midfield , get some pace on left midfield [ Kedman , give him a run of games as he is good enough ] ] along with Leonard on the right , use space on wings [ round a crowded defence] , get the balls into the box , get Robinson back [ with Azeeze ] and we will score a hatfull !!!

See you later when I hope we put Oxford to the sword !!!!!!!!!!!!

We need a Bradbrook or Noble type player in midfield
In other words a bit more aggression
Our midfield is good when we have the ball.but it is a bit lacking when our opponent is in possession IMO.

Of the three midfielders I would have gone for Husin and Jebb. Murtagh didn't exist first half of the Chippenham game. If we are going to have 3 in there I would go for Luke Allen in the mix.

I believe Ton.B suspended for cautions, Wynts still injured and Noor on international duty and Leonard ill.
