Worrying times. More dropped points, they set up for the draw from minute 1 and we somehow gave them 3 goals? Looked like our mistakes on all of them they didn't actually have to work for them.

Ade MOTM for me, he did his job while the defence didn't. Thought the midfield was poor today also.

Maidstone lost again and have slid further down the table. That will be us in a few games if we keep this up.

Yes it's a real worry isn't it... supporting a top of the table club! 😂😂😂

We've not won in 4, 2 of those against bottom half teams. Maidstone were hot on our tails and then went on a winless run now look at their position. That's all I'm saying

Top of the league but let’s not gloss over it. We were piss poor today with passes going astray again. Too often. We ‘nicked’ a lucky goal and spoon fed them three. They also missed three sitters and a 6-3 scoreline to Chippenham would have been about right. I’m scratching my head wondering what’s happened. Yes, top of the league, but it won’t be for long if we continue this. BUT the most surprising thing about today was some strange person voted Wanadio MOTM. WTF? He had a mare! Come on boys. Sort this out before Oxford come a knocking!

Really poor today but scrapped a draw. Still top with other teams dropping points today. St Albans lurking in 2nd with games in hand though (hey, we’ve beaten them!)

Very difficult to comprehend what’s happened. Really do need to get back into that winning habit, but how?

Positives today:
- Ade stopped his own dry period in front of goal
- We didn’t lose
- Still top

Can’t wait for next Saturdays game. COYD

After a wretched first half I was amazed we went into the break in front. To then concede the lead twice is really disappointing, but in hindsight wasn’t a surprise. There were some moments of individual brilliance, but far too many sub-par performances.

Jordan Wynter missing the game seemed to completely unsettle our normally solid defence. Wanadio tried his absolute best but he’s not a right back and it really showed today. In a recent interview Steve King mentioned that he’s looking to sign the right kind of full back, one that’ll fit into the tactical plan. After today, any right back will do.

Agree with previous post, we were very poor, we constantly gave the ball away, shocking defending, and yet again poor timing with subs, I know Leonard had an off game against Concord but they all did on Tuesday night, but I simply do not understand why one of our most creative players not only didn't start but more so, was not bought on midway through the second half, I'm a big Steve king fan but I'm baffled of late with some tactical decisions.
And it's very true the way we've been playing of late it's only a matter of time we start slipping down the table unless we start to get our act together, when you look at the last 4 match form table we are in 19th place with 2pts from 12.

Hugely disappointed that we didn't win. At this stage, only results matter and performance is secondary. I was thrilled when we went 3-2 up but we gave it away. We were disjointed without a right back, we had to make do and we never really looked like we deserved the points.

But we are a big team still, you only have to see the world Cup winning celebrations at the end, getting a draw at the Dartford.

Let's stick together. We are Dartford, Princes Park.

First half pretty even but we improved second half and looked more of a threat going forward even though our final ball at times could have been better. Nice to see we got our shooting boots back and three goals at home should be enough but defensively we weren't as good as usual and gave away a fair bit of possession with some wayward passes.
Difficult to see clearly from the other end of the ground but it looked like we conceded some poor goals today, not having a recognised right back probably didn't help.

Support second half and at the end was very good and that was pleasing because when things are not going as well the team need us behind them.

Not sure why but for the third time this season our opponents seem to enjoy goading our fans at the end of the game. Admittedly it was only their Captain today but poor imo. Shame he couldn't conduct himself like their number 4 who showed some class at the end towards the fans and was also excellent for them all game sweeping up several dangerous attacks.

MOTM Azeez, scored two and at home that should be enough for victory.

We may still be top but this was no title chasing performance ? On any other day we could of lost this game but for some poor finishing by the Chippenham forwards ? So I would take this as a point gained rather than two dropped . Oxford next week and I really am not confident of three points judging by recent performances , but will keep the faith and hopefully SK can turn things round and get us back on track .

Looking at the positives- Ade looks very sharp and deserved his two goals. Jernade, although more conservative than usual (perhaps to balance out Wanadio being more attacking) was always a threat when he did get forward. Noor had moments of class as usual. And Luke Wanadio… clearly loves playing for the club and did his absolute best when being played out of position.

The team are in a bit of a slump, but looked a lot more confident once they ended the dry spell up front. A shame the defence couldn’t mirror the good attacking performance though. There’s light at the end of this very short tunnel! COYD!

I did spot the 50/50 and the golden goal were displayed on the very swanky score board at half time, worth looking out for next time.

on the game, too many poor passes and sloppy defending cost us today, but thank god we have found our scoring boots. Much more to look forward to at the next game Saturday.

Very disappointed we did not get three points
Appalled with the quality of defending
Liked that the players worked really hard
Took 30 minutes for Luke to understand the role but I thought he applied himself and was a real threat
Once Luke and Ade went off we were likely to be hit with a counter punch as we got too deep
Stevie Kings overcoat was fabulous
Let’s win next week

I think we are all missing something here. Chippenham took the game to us and did a very good job to the point where if the guy hadn't missed the header at the end of the first half it would have been game over.
To come back and to go in at half time 2-1 up was a bit of a surprise. But even though they equalised early second half I felt we did enough to have won this easy. Yes, our defense was poor, Meade getting caught out a few times (especially the third). I think maybe bringing Hill on was a mistake because he hardly bolstered a leaky defence. Felt if Steve was going to take off an attacker he should have repalced him with an attacker because we had them on the back foot.
First half I wondered why Murtagh was on the pitch, he gave away so many balls and then Noor started catching the same bug. The first twenty minutes was forgettable but it certainly livened up after we scored.
Credit to Chippenham they played very well without being defensive.
Stand outs for me Bonner, Jebb, Porter, Wanadio and Roberts. Glad the Ade got back on the scoresheet.
But between Luke and George I'm going to give mt MOTM to George, he played a good game, without being in your face, simply because he supported the front two excellently.
Roll on next Saturday, I'm sure it's going to be even harder for us.
