Winning ugly but a win is a win 👌.

Now we can’t feck it up against a bottom half team like we have so often recently !

Man of the match as announced had been substituted. Says it all for me I’m afraid. Pennock out! Win lose or draw! The man is guessing.

Lots of players are named motm after being subbed off? I don’t see the issue here

Cant complain with the result but once again I leave feeling like there’s just too much missing. Feel as if one of the Ramsgate players brung their shooting boots they could’ve easily walked away with all 3 points even after going down to ten. Think a lot of the decisions made again tonight were questionable, for example bringing off our MOTM so early, sitting so deep against 10 men etc. Really do think Princes Park has been quite depressing as of late, it looked like some of the ‘youth’ were allowed in today but even they couldn’t be bothered to watch or sing, just like the other 1000 Dartford fans in the stadium. I do like our squad, think there’s some good characters and hard workers, but the football is so dull, it’s no surprise there’s a lack of atmosphere. I am surprised we managed to attract 1000+ plus tonight when the football of late has just been over hit balls to Callum Jones on the wing (who isn’t a winger) and him chasing them around for 90 mins. The days of us having exciting players like Dinanga, Mcqueen and even Kalala feel like a very distant memory.

Another snore fest.
Pennock naming 3 centre backs on the bench and leaving Pinder out.
A wins a win but by Christ we are so boring to watch.
Subs as predictable as ever.
Don’t think I’ve ever felt so deflated after two wins in a row. Can’t warm to the guy and dont think I ever will.
If welling or Ramsgate had a forward who could finish it would be a different story.
Pennock coming over to the fans after the game and telling them to smile probably tells the story of where the club is at.

An improvement over the last few weeks. Not enough to get too excited about, but to halt a team flying like Ramsgate looking for their twelfth game unbeaten showed some decent resolve. Olopade and Carter had good games as did Winfield and Box. The miss by their 7 was equalled by Vaughan’s one on one fluff which was reminiscent of a Danny Harris choke. I said some weeks ago that the two postponed fixtures could be quite pivotal and should we get a result at W&F on Saturday, the Cheshunt game becomes massive.
It was better tonight. By no means electric, but better.

Another win to keep us in touching distance of the play offs and you can't fault our players for effort.
But i am struggling to take many positives from our recent performances.

First half i thought Ramsgate had more possession and somehow managed to miss a sitter early on, but on the rare occasion we got in their box they looked a bit edgy. A pretty good goal from us and from memory i think the assist is called a cross....

Second half similar to the first but thankfully they somehow managed to miss an absolute sitter from what looked like about two yards out.

Taking into account their good run on tonights showing they were not as good as i thought they were going to be and i think that sums up this whole division, plenty of effort and hustle/bustle but not much quality.

I'm still not sure what the thinking was behind our subs as after the first two were made we had four forwards on the pitch (again) and even with the extra man Ramsgate still looked the more likely to score. Add to that three centre backs on the bench, no midfielder and we sub a midfielder and play a forward in midfield? I've said it all along i feel the make up of the squad lacks options.

MOTM. Henly was good again, Carter the one creative spark but i gave it to McLeod who probably had his best game for us tonight. Seems the subbed players keeping winning MOTM

I don't know why but it niggles me when I'm being "requested" to clap the players off at the final whistle.
