An excellent result for the boys today and a result which now takes us into 3rd place after Chatham got a 1-4 stuffing at home to St Albans.

Dulwich have a decent defensive record and have scored a few late equalisers this season so I’ll take that any day!

Absolutely thrashed them 1-0!! Nervy end though. The old sphincter got some strengthening exercise!

Nervy ending but a good result. Particularly impressed with the first 30 mins of the second half. Do think we’ll have to bring in a forward on loan depending on the severity of Dan’s injury. Also hope Carter’s subbing was just precautionary, hate to see subs being subbed and thought he was superb when he was on.

A good battling win but on another day we could have had a few more and made it more comfortable

Sam Smith scores Dartford’s winner v Dulwich Hamlet

Those last 15-20 mins were bloody nervy and were it not for some poor finishing and good defending from us, Dulwich could have nicked an undeserved equaliser.

But no question over the 90 mins we thoroughly deserved the win today and had we had our shooting boots on, it would have been a comfortable win.

We played some great football first half and created plenty of chances, in all honesty the game should have wrapped up before HT.
Second half we started ok and had a few more chances but just couldn't find the second goal which i think would have completely killed the game off as a contest.

So even though we had to endure some nail biting at the end, there were plenty of positives today and with several players returning, things are starting to look a lot better.

MOTM today really tough as so many decent performances. Dan Carter, Sam Smith were both good but in the end i gave it to Luther Williams. He's come back from his loan period and showed a great attitude, also had to switch to LB today and had a very good game.

Great result from the team today. In spells, Dulwich could not cope with us but prevented us from scoring with some very good defensive blocks and more than the occasional shirt pull. In the second half the onslaught was constant, until we began the substitution process. I do not know why this was the case as I believe that the subs played their part, but we lost the momentum and began to struggle to keep possession on the increasing few occasions that we had it. Perhaps it was the efforts of Tuesday night showing in the legs.

In the last ten minutes, Dulwich had their three goal scoring chances of the match. Thankfully, they were wasteful in front of goal.

After all the noise around his red card on Tuesday, I felt that Michael had a very good game. He was solid in defence and played some very good passes. The defensive unit performed well today, as shown by the clean sheet.

Hopefully we can clear up some injuries in the week so that we have options up front for the match next weekend.

Agree with PL regarding MOTM, sometimes loanees return and show us precisely why they deserve to be a part of the set-up. We did ride our luck somewhat at times, but felt we outclassed Hamlet in all areas ultimately. Motoring along nicely.

The highlights show how the game changed towards the end with all the action being around our penalty box. The defence did well today.

Strange highlights package. Seems to miss half of our chances? But certainly highlighted the twitchy bum ending.

A very good performance and a deserved victory, albeit poor finishing made it a nervy final 15. We should have been out of sight by half-time but the lads managed to keep a clean sheet and take the points which is ultimately all that matters. Plaudits all round, a very good team performance.

One other thought ... I've come to accept that when a goalkeeper falls over and there is an opposition player somewhere within 50 feet, the referee will blow for an imaginary foul. It's a thing, I've come to terms with it. Somehow though, when the referee tries to justify this nonsense by making elbowing gestures as if this validates the "foul" that in truth exists entirely and solely in his own head, for some reason that really irritates me.

Couldn’t have put it better. That’s what the goal area means to referees. Keeper protection area. Thou shalt not pass. But, after the keeper makes an error on the edge of the penalty area and then chooses to take a nap and cons the referee into bottling it shows both of them to be plainly inept. I actually thought this ref had a decent game until that moment (and another) - probably just the best of a very poor bunch. And I don’t see it getting better.
