What I enjoyed most in the highlights was seeing how much lower the Fleet heads dropped with every goal that went in. They just didn't know what was hitting them! I could watch the 1st three minutes of the highlights over and over again for ever.
How sorry I was not to have been there in person. I'd decided in advance that it would be too much hassle: car (parking?) or bus (bank holiday Service?); e-ticket only for admission; being stuck behind the bottom goal exposed to the elements or squashed into that antique and cramped apology for a stand; dreadful bar, burger van and toilet facilities...
How I'd love to see a repeat this coming Sunday, when I definitely will be there. Shame the attendance will not be as high as it might have been because so many Fleet fans will stay away following this performance.

And didn't Ebbsfleet receive a substantial grant to improve their toilet facilities a few seasons back - or was that Welling?
Re: Ebbsfleet v Dartford Mon 26 Dec 2022 at 3pm
Correct!! And they did spend it accordingly, as the whole ground is a toilet now!!
