Great celebrations...
Perhaps we could book the Irish club, for when DFC men win the league next season???
The Champions' Bar can't be asked to organise!!!

It’s an absolute joke that the Dartford FC Ladies can’t even be allowed to hold their league & cup winning celebrations at their own stadium. This would’ve meant a lot of money being spent over the bar and being put back into the club, instead they was welcomed I’m sure with open arms by the Irish Club who would’ve been rubbing their hands together at all that extra cash.

It’s an absolute disgrace and whoever was behind the decision should hold their head in shame.

Matt, from what I understand it clashed with the pre arranged Quiz Night in the champions bar.
So I don’t really think there was much that could have been done, unless they moved the Quiz night.

And that's exactly what should have happened. The quiz night should have been moved or postponed. First and foremost this is a football club. When one of it's senior sides wins the league title, returning to the ground with the Trophy, then who should take precedent? This is a team who've earned this club thousands in FA Cup prize money recently and thank god there was an alternative venue for the League Champions to enjoy the celebrations. Compare the bar takings at the Irish Club to what the Champions Bar earned that night and you wonder why some fans can't understand why we're no longer the top non-league club in Kent.
Even worse, just imagine if there was no alternative venue for the team and it's supporters to go to.
Their special day would have ended with DFC pouring one hell of a huge bucket of cold water on their day. What a way to treat their most successful team of the season where records were smashed in the League, FA Cup and attendances.
Which team won a league title and brought the Trophy home only to find there would be no celebrations due to a quiz night taking place?
Now that'll be a good question for pub quiz nights up and down the country.
However, the quiz master may have to emphasise the answer is based on a real football club and not a fictional one from a tv sitcom.

As Ajaxman said the quiz night should’ve either been moved or postponed due to the fantastic achievements and celebrations of the ladies team.

Just a lot more money thrown away by the club and fed into another bars pockets all because they didn’t put their brains in gear.

Hey, don’t disagree with what you are saying, someone should have spoke to Bite Me and said can we use the bar for a Quiz night…..
Simples, all I am saying is the club could have handled it better, but what do I know.
