Re: Whitehawk v Dartford Tue 25 Nov 2025
What is worse is that the rest of the league will be thriving on all this - and why wouldn’t they? They’ll exploit it and do all they can to get us down to ten. Refs need an adrenaline boost too and what an opportunity. We’re gifting all this to all our opponents and kicking ourselves in the teeth at the same time results wise. What an absolute shit show and an embarrassment to the name of Dartford Football Club and utter disrespect to its fans. That how I feel. Twats!!

That's three red cards in twelve league starts for Olarewaju. That's problematic with any player. When it's your captain... oof
Re: Whitehawk v Dartford Tue 25 Nov 2025
The red card situation is becoming ridiculous. Either we are a 'marked team' and refs are too quick to reach for the ultimate sanction against us, or we have no understanding of how the refs have been told to apply the rules during league matches this season. Both scenario are a major cause for concern.
I am not at the match and am therefore in no position to give my opinion on the red tonight, but the two at Ramsgate were in my opinion shocking decisions by the ref as were the two yellows shown to Olly at a recent home match. We all know that the refs are human and will make mistakes, but why do we keep giving them the opportunity to give us red cards? Other teams appear to manage to keep eleven players on the park more often than not. Is it the way that our players 'go in' to the tackles or is it refs being conned by dives and screams?
This issue has to be resolved quickly. Something is clearly wrong as I believe that we will all agree that we are not a 'dirty team'. The game is far less physical than it once was in an era when I believe red cards were far less common than now. If a ref has not played the sport at a reasonably competitive level, it must be very difficult at times to identify the difference between a full-on challenge and a reckless one. Perhaps we need a discussion with the representatives of the officials to understand exactly what they are looking for in a challenge to determine if it is fair or not. I do not know how else we go forward from here.
Having seen the latest posts, they suggest that this was retaliation rather than a competitive challenge. There is no excuse for that. Our club captain is now presumably facing a three match ban for a second red card in this first half of the season. It is not a great look.

I am at home and seen none of this tonight
Michael cannot play football, cannot run, and has no discipline but he thinks he’s Bobby Moore
In the summer he was signed late and I was hoping he had left
How he is captain to me is beyond belief and we are better team when he doesn’t play
I sincerely hope we don’t see him in a Dartford shirt again.
I have never made a direct attack on a Dartford player previously although I often make marked barbed comments on players who I don’t feel cut the mustard but Michael is a one off. He kills us every time he plays

Did we just get a yellow for a player slamming the ball down after a foul? Are they not getting the message after that sending off !

Let's get another one. Hanging on isn't really our thing.
