John Kennett - RIP

Post by Tall Dart »

Good evening all,

It is with great sadness that I have to inform all those who knew my Dad, John. On Saturday he sadly passed away aged 70.

Dad was a dartford resident and fan all of his life, we travelled far and wide together supporting the Darts. Since our home coming we stood behind the goal, up until recently when he was coming along in his wheelchair as he couldn't stand for the 90 minutes. He very much enjoyed the banter behind the goal and all things DFC related.

Give the boys a cheer for us tonight.

Very sorry to read this news Paul.
Yes, given the delays to this Final being played tonight, your Dad would have probably attended on the original date of the match, so let the Darts' win tonight's final on behalf of him in recognition of his lifelong support of the Darts.

Condolences to yourself and the family.

Rest in Peace John

Condolences, Paul. Sorry to read of your dad’s death. We’ve lost too many DFC stalwarts in the past year.

It would be fantastic if we honoured them with another trophy or two by the season’s end.
