Can’t say I’m looking forward to this one: the ground is a dump; it will be full of very smug City supporters; there’s no cover and its forecast to be pi$$ing down! The only positive will be a chance of a chat with a few Darts fans as the season rapidly draws to a close. The form guide suggests another defeat but I remember a similar situation when Chelmsford were groundsharing at Billericay and we won 4-1. Under Gary Julians’ management spell, if I’m not mistaken? Any chance of a similar shock result, folks?

We have to take the positives from the previous games and somehow turn it into a win, against a club that will be laughing all the way to 90 minutes at our plight. 3 points seems impossible, but let's go in numbers and hope and pray for something out of the game.

Not a ground or club nowadays I enjoy going to for many reasons but I'll be there cheering the lads on.
A game where we aren't expected to get anything from but we are improving so fingers crossed. However we will need to be better going forward so hopefully with the return of Barzey, Greenidge and maybe Box that will give us that extra edge.
The players and Ady are still giving it a go so we really need to get behind them, while we're still in their with a fighting chance let's make sure we do our bit.

I'll be there on Friday as I was last night

We are better but as Spike says not good enough,2 clean sheets on the spin is a major plus tho,Byrne looks safer in goal which has to help
Going forward is obviously where we are lacking although it would be nice to have a full hand to deal from....
Box injured, looked excellent at Slough,Barzey, international duty when we could do with him and Shomy as 2 wingers with Bray in the middle
Greenidge banned etc

Ade has without doubt improved the team from the Buffoon's days recognising immeadiately that the players were falling short of fitness levels needed.....obviously why we faded/conceded late goals, pens etc

we have 6 games ,3 are winnable(yes I know our form doesn't allude to that) ,Eastbourne,Havent and Truro at PP...........maybe we'll pick up points elsewhere.....Yeovil could have won the league and be "on the beach"
Lets all get behind the boys and try and be the 12th man..............stop all the moaning, calling players out,it is what it is.........all down to the Buffoon IMO

Played some nice possession football last night and until we ran out of steam the defence was fairly untroubled. Goalie looks a massive improvement on what I have seen this season (apart from possibly Sandford) and certainly stepped up with a couple of really good saves late on. Everything looked good apart from the very limited opportunities in the final third. Would have loved to see some having a shot from range. However, given the performance at Truro (Gloucester) there is a lot more football being played and players thinking about what they are doing. The rub of the green would be nice at Chelmo and an Easter upset would be fantastic.

Ade on kentonline is saying that the critic's do so at their own risk.
I wish I had his optimism. Especially as going to Chelmo is not a favourite place to go to.
I'm sure there's a lot of fans over there that would rejoice in seeing us beaten soundly and put to the sword..
One would like to think we will get something over there as we are turning a corner of sorts. But getting a goal???
I live in hope.

Now Barzey is back and we are playing better there is a risk of Chelmsford underestimating us.
I’m hoping they approach the game overconfident.
We do have some good players, AP I think knows what he’s doing.
Every player must be giving their all as they all should be anyway.
Then we have a chance.

Hoping for a miracle ,everyone knows that we are in deep do-do and the Chelmos would love to bury us.
But you never know ,it will be tough but it's a funny old game.
I understand that the transfer window closes today ,maybe a couple of late ,late signings!
Either way I will be there on Monday surely we have to win a game soon?

Just woke from a dream in which we were playing Deal Town (and went 0-1 up!) in a church hall, where the ‘game’ consisted of some ‘players’ sitting in a circle, pushing cars around with one finger, shunting a ping pong ball and making ‘brrrrrr’ noises.

God we need to stay up. A win here today would be phenomenal.

I hope everyone concerned with DFC travelling to Chelmsford has the same attitude and optimism as our manager.
I think we're going to need it.

Chelmsford fan here, who unfortunately cannot be at the game today.
Amongst my circle of CCFC supporters, whilst we always want to beat Dartford, especaiily away, we think it would be a loss if you were to be relegated as we would all miss the matches between us.
So good luck - after today!
PS Towards the end of our last game at Dartford one of your elderly fans walked past me, towards the end of the game, and said "I hate your f*****g lot" - with some feeling! An illustration of how much the games matter.

I have just passed over the tunnel approach, and as you would expect on a Bank Holiday, all four lanes completely choked backing on to the A2 and M25. Give yourselves plenty of time and patience.
Come on you Darts.
Happy Easter.
