0-1
We've had chances and not taken them, they've had one and scored.

When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best….
Altogether now…..

Playing the new centre forward out on the wing where he has looked non existent
Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 23 Mar 2024
HT 0-1.
We started well and created some good chances but didn't have a single effort on target.
They then had the possession, created one decent chance and scored.

Week scores certainly aren't going out way at the moment. Welling, Taunton, Torquay all winning
Big Halftime team talk needed and a storming second half

All sounds so familiar from recent games. Chances spurned and conceding just before half time. Rivals winning elsewhere, so lots to do in the second half - we hope!

A one v one and a free header at the end of the half, both off target.
HH are the worst team I’ve seen here in a long time l, though their 7 looks very good.

Well, a massive chance to climb the table missed especially as a lot of results favoured us. Welling, Dover, Taunton,, Truro and Havant all losing. Eastbourne drawing and only Torquay winning. So on to another big game away to Truro

Don't think a point against these is good enough to keep us up.
Was a massive chance and only a couple of players turned up. Coulson and Wall very poor, with Wall on the Pitch we might as well just play with 10 men he's useless. Resulted in the new player Bray being played wide for the first half where he was ineffective and then couldn't get into the game when Wall was hooked off on 75 mins (far too late). Shomotun missed a golden opportunity in the first few minutes of the game where he did well, however after that he slowed everything down and stopped any counter attacks we had
Results eventually went our way despite it looking awful for a long period of the afternoon, and we've failed to capitalise. I fail to see how this team is going to get us out of trouble. There seems to be no energy and no desire from the large majority of them, they just don't care.
MOTM Rooney.

Blimey, that was late. Excruciating standing at the Faversham match looking at my phone and seeing Dowson doing us over again.
Better late than never Steve with that post.
And we didn't lose.

Not much to say really , two poor sides not playing very well . What was important for me is we did not lose today, not that I think a point is enough bur I did not want to lose to the man who put us in the shit in the first place

That is a good point mate, we didn't lose and the atmosphere was improved. I thought we would have had a few more seeing that under 18's were FOC. Announcement was 1300 in the ground and it looked to be about right

Shame we couldn't take advantage of the scores around us.
