They were all very good penalties, don't think the 'keeper had a hand to any of them. Great save from Dan Wilkes, got down well to his left.

Looks like we played 3 5 2 yesterday with 2 wing backs pushing on , I personally like 4 3 3 with my faves as follows :

Wilkes
Clarke Hill Bonner Meade
Husin Murtagh Hyde
Leonard Azeeze Robinson

I accept that other squad players have a strong case , just my view NOT meant as a criticism !!!!!!

Missed yesterday cos of a family do. Keep the momentum going boys! I’m predicting another trip to Maidstone for the next round so that’ll be twice in two weeks. 😂

Overall, a very even game that really could have gone either way, with Bath having the better of the first half and Darts the second. The thermometer said 3C but the vicious icy wind felt like needles in the face and even Captain Oates may have felt inclined to go back inside. Although Darts played well in both games, I do feel a little sympathy for Bath who can count themselves unlucky not to have taken anything from either game. In the end though, it was superior finishing that gave Darts the win on both occasions and that was once again the difference between the two sides, albeit this time from the penalty spot. In any case, whatever part luck played in the game, we were surely due some after recent matches.

Our 5 penalties were as good as any you will see anywhere. Absolute masterclass on how to take a spot kick. To be fair, Bath's weren't bad either and it took a great save from Dan Wilks to ultimately win the match.

Despite the conditions and the absence of goals, the match wasn't a bad watch and whilst we weren't entirely at our best, it was still a decent performance against difficult opponents. Looking back at the match as a whole, 0-0 after 90 mins was probably about fair. All credit to our lads, that's 6 unbeaten on the spin now and they seem to have put that little wobble behind them.

MOTM is a tough one as this was more of a team effort than any one outstanding contribution. I'd have to pick between Tom B (who battled on superbly after a nasty blow in the face) and Wilksy (who was impressive throughout and won the game with his excellent penalty save). I'll give it some thought.

Well summed up by Spike - the game could easily have ended up 3-3 on good chances carved out by both teams. An enjoyable game in a biting wind - someone near me checked on their phone to be told the wind-chill made the temperature minus three!!!

My MOM was Tom Bonner but it was an all-round team performance. Best part was the sheer delight of the whole team when the winning penalty went in - it just shows how together this squad is.

Given that I am now living in Taunton the two games at Bath are the only ones that I have managed to see thus far this season. On each occasion I thought that Bath were unlucky to come away with nothing and I can't understand why they are so far down the table.

Looking forward to the draw to be made tomorrow

Yes they do join this round but the draw is still divided into north and south sections until the round after, which is the last 32.
