Are we playing 3 at the back now, with Rooney pushed into midfield. Sounds like we are building some pressure.

The next 4 games are absolutely massive.

If we don't get 9 points minimum then we will go down.

Sounds as though we had a proper go second half, but again a mistake has let us down. Unfortunate.
We desperately need some points from somewhere.
Unlucky the Lads.

It feels like a relegation battle between us and Welling.
I never ever thought I’d say that.

You continue to state the obvious Mark. The last four matches were massive also but at least the lads are putting a game together and going for it.
If we go down it won't be from the lack of trying.

Welling sacked their manager with a plan to replace him immediately.

We have sacked ours and have no plan.

Welliing had their new manager in place weeks before Bloor was sacked, we are doing it the correct way.

I make that 2 points from our last 6 games, which could possibly put us at the bottom of the form guide. Time to put Rooney further up the pitch and loose our holding midfielder.

Yes we do have a plan - TB is on charge! We have someone who lives and breathes DFC running the show and already we can see visible signs of improvement.

Maybe a new manager is our only chance who can bring in his players, should he know of any that are out there. But until then we have Tony in charge who is making a fair fist of it. Until we get a new manager these lads deserve all the support we can give.

… and those two draws could be replaced by two losses in the next seven days. Hopefully not, but things do not look good at all.

Thanks for the confirmation Rick.

This was never going to be an easy game; gifting Bath a goal didn’t help matters but at least we finished the match strongly, which suggests that we are improving. I think we need to get behind TB and keep him in place to the end of the season. He will sort out the mess left by Dowse and it will allow the club the time to find our long term manager.

The previous charlatan has left us with a squad that is woefully inadequate. Plenty of effort, but a severe lack of quality as well as quantity. The three players who improved us are no longer with us, and one even played against us today, to rub salt into the wounds. TB has a big job. Who would want to manage us at the moment? I have no hope for Tuesday, but if we cant beat Dover next Saturday then we won’t beat anyone. We might stay up by default.

Unfortunately we made an error early in the game which unsettled us and for the first 25-30 minutes Bath were well on top and could easily have been 2 or 3 in front. At the time we were saying we've just got to stay in the game to give ourselves a chance and thankfully the last 10-15 mins of the first half quietened down and we went in at 0-1.
Not sure what TB and the players discussed at half time but we came out and were a completely different side and played well. Sure Bath had a couple of chances but we were the better side, created some good opportunities and could easily have got something from this game. A few shouts for a pen as well and a much improved second half but we've now got to turn good 45 mins into longer periods and capitalise when we're on top.
That's two tough away games on the spin and we can feel unlucky to have come away with nothing from these games but there is no doubt we are improving and we look like a team now. You can see the players are giving it a real go and it's just small margins at the moment which have prevented us from getting a result. So if TB and the players keep believing and improving i'm confident our next point(s) will be coming soon, hopefully Tuesday.
Shomotum had another decent game and looks a good signing but i gave MOTM to Romain. Worked hard and gave us something completely different up front from what we've seen in the last 18 months.

TB has added Maloney, Shomotun and Romain to the squad and from what i've seen so far they look like good additions. The issue he has though is that he needs a few more additions going forward especially as i believe Barzey is still a week or two away form returning.

With regards to Chin, i'm not going to go into details (ask me Tuesday evening if you want the full account) but the club did everything right and professionally, the same however cannot be said for Chin and his agent. Sure any player can go and play for who he wants but there are a few words which you could use to describe Chin and his agent and integrity, honesty and decency are definitely not on the list. Apparently in his post match interview he had "mixed emotions" about playing against us, well he didn't have those emotions on Thursday. I think it's unlikely we will see him again in a DFC shirt and from what i've heard, i'm not sure i'd want to.

We're in a relegation fight and you think a loss is a good result? Come off it.

In fairness to LennyLenny and I cannot believe I am saying it he is right yes they did have the better game, but I thought we worked hard today and TB seems to have a real togetherness within the team.

Onto another game on Tuesday night and I will be there to support the lads!
