Dartford Whites

Post by Johndfc2 »

Another excellent performance from the Dartford Whites this morning. Thrashing last year’s champions Dover Athletic by a resounding 5-1. It would be nice if a few more Dartford supporters who are not working on a Wednesday come down and supporters. I can guarantee u will be impressed just how good the standard of football is. The fixtures and times are usually shown on X and Instagram the day before. Hopefully see some of you there.

What a season this is turning out to be for the Academy. The Whites had a narrow win over Dorking to go 13 points clear at the top and the Reds won a tough league cup quarter final at Barking . Plus Academy alumni Ollie Box scored to cracking goals at Slough for the first team. At a risk of repeating myself it would greatif a few more supporters could make on Wednesday’s to cheer the lads over the line. The future of Dartford FC Is right in front of you.

Getting closer after another narrow victory away to bottom of the table Boreham Wood. A terrible start saw Dartford Whites concede an early goal in the first few minutes , however equalising only a few minutes later. Unfortunately the defence once again stood still and allowed Boreham Wood to take the lead . All in the first ten minutes. For the next hour the game descended into an untidy scrap with the pedantic referee continually stopping play . It looked as though after hitting the post and crossbar it may just not be Dartford's day . However this team has great character and after finally scoring two goals in the last ten minutes, they took home the deserved 3 points and remain 13 points clear at the top. Only 8 games to go.
Next Wednesday the Whites are at home to Bromley and hoping to extend a nine game winning run. If any supporters can make it your support would be really appreciated to cheer the lads on to the championship.
