Until we actually build a team to play together and not a bunch of individuals then we aren’t going to get anywhere I’m afraid.
We are now only just out of the relegation zone due to goal difference, Slough are now only 1 place below us due to goal difference after 2 wins in a row lifted them up.

If we hit the woodwork three times then you could say we were a tad unlucky but no one has yet said how unlucky we were. Seems as though it sounds like another bad day at the office.

So now what?
Dowse given a new 2 year contract at the start of the season. We're currently only outside the relegation zone on GD after 9 games. I said I'd make my judgement after 10 games, but the recruitment has proven to be questionable.
I like Dowse but I worry that there's no way back for him at this point. The crowd has already turned toxic against Slough midweek, and it's only going to get worse if things don't improve.

Still, we have a rip roaring cup tie ahead of us. I think people will be voting with their feet.

Four big forwards who are either injured, starved of service or in a system they don’t understand!Guving away the captaincy another almighty own goal . Welling we will smash so let’s get behind the lads next week.
Re: St Albans City v Dartford Sat 9 Sep 2023
Watched the live stream and we had no one player running at thier defence, I know it was hot but come on we look nothing like a team and look like relegation.
If we lose next week I think Dowse should go before it’s to late, talk on another thread about certain man getting another job and one remark was some people never lear, what I give for a Kingy team now
Harvey Bradbury old man would be my choice if Dowse goes

Decided against travelling to St Albans today so cannot comment on the performance, BUT this is a results business and another defeat in what has proven so far to be a poor season(to say the least) now demands change. If Dowse doesn’t resign next weeks cup tie MUST be his last chance saloon.

The Chairman must give Biddle a vote of confidence…..

Re: St Albans City v Dartford Sat 9 Sep 2023
Neil Baker (ex-Slough) - good young manager, not in a job atm
Re: St Albans City v Dartford Sat 9 Sep 2023
I’m sure Andy Hessenthaler could be tempted too!

He'd probably get rid of Harvey, after Charlie and Alex of course.

Where does it say that Dowse has given away the captaincy?Lennylenny wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 5:14 pm Four big forwards who are either injured, starved of service or in a system they don’t understand!Guving away the captaincy another almighty own goal . Luke Coulson was a sub on the bench so can’t be a captain if he’s not on the pitch hence why Nembhard was given the armband.
I’m sure if Coulson starts against Welling in the cup on Saturday then he’ll have the armband again.

What about Messrs Bonner and Bonner? Improvements on the pitch and in the bar takings!
