Disappointed, but not surprised.
The football programme is going to be affected all over the country.

Re: Maidstone v Dartford Sat 11 Dec 2021
As I posted much earlier.... What the hell has gone wrong??? Yes, since Sudbury we have not been anywhere near the team that started the season. I did.not go to Maidstone .but from what I hear I did the right thing. Our forwards have stopped scoring , our midfield no longer seems to dominate and our...

Re: Maidstone v Dartford Sat 11 Dec 2021
What the hell has happened to the team that played free flowing football back in August/September . I know this league is tough but something is not right with this team at the moment.. There just does not seem to be any cohesion to me We may have gone 7 games without defeat before today so I might ...

After last week's effort against Ricay , I am not surprised.
Hopefully the 2nd half will be an improvement.

Re: Dartford v Billericay Sat 4 Dec 2021
The ref was much better than his last performance at PP when he sent Eliot Romain off for two yellows.about 2 years ago and his handling that day was very erratic imo.
He was spot on with the sending off BTW..

Re: Dartford v Billericay Sat 4 Dec 2021
A disjointed performance against oppo who are better than their league position suggests We needed some width up front to stretch lickabilly's defence. An honest and refreshing interview with Kingy shows that he was as unhappy as the rest of us with the performance. My worry was in the last 10 minut...

Re: Dartford v Billericay Sat 4 Dec 2021
Ricca never looked like scoring..but neither did we. A blooming awful watch but 3 points were achieved My worry is ....our lack of chances created, hopefully Kingy can sort it out because other teams are breathing down our necks at the top. A bit less huff and puff and a bit more creativity Please .

Re: Dartford v Oxford City Sat 13 Nov 2021
No lack of effort from our team and Oxford are a very Good team but what concerns me this run of poor results. Injuries, suspensions and international duty have taken their toll. But this is a tough league and there will.be lots of twists and turns before next May I trust in Steve King and hopefully ...

Re: Dartford v Oxford City Sat 13 Nov 2021
We need a Bradbrook or Noble type player in midfield
In other words a bit more aggression
Our midfield is good when we have the ball.but it is a bit lacking when our opponent is in possession IMO.

Re: Dartford v Chippenham Sat 6 Nov 2021
I drove home feeling like we had just lost. If you score 3 goals at home you would expect to win the game but boy do we need to work on defending against free kicks near our penalty area. After about 20 minutes most spectators were saying "What the he'll is going on" because we were nothin...

What a shame but by all accounts we were not at the races today.
Back to our bread and butter and 3 points next week.

One game at a time.
Yes we do have a good team at the moment but football has a way of kicking you where it hurts
Having said that this is the best squad that we have had for years!

Re: Dartford v Whitstable Kent Cup Final 2019/20
Yes, Whitstable scored a 90th minute winner against a young Gills team. Should be a good game. One word of warning .......remember Hythe in the KSC final about 9 years ago ....We were hot favourites and got beaten by a Brendan Cass penalty. A few days later we beat Welling 1-0 in the national south ...

Re: Dartford v Hungerford Sat 9 Oct 2021 Kick off 3pm
I actually thought that the Hungerford keeper was a very good shot stopper and commanded his area well. But his antics let him down imho. If they want to improve their league position....Time wasting, feigning injury and spoiling tactics will keep them up but it won't get them up. After watching the...

Re: Dartford v Hungerford Sat 9 Oct 2021 Kick off 3pm
I think that it was Northern Ireland who had a player sent off yesterday for 2 yellows ,the 2nd yellow was for TIME WASTING! In the first half What a pity that that particular referee was not officiating at our game against Hungerford. An early yellow for their TIME wasting would have made the game a...

Re: Dartford v Hungerford Sat 9 Oct 2021 Kick off 3pm
Well I played for quite a few pub teams but I would not play for a pub team who used such cynical tactics as Hungerford. We have had a Welling fan on here tonight and he said that Hungerford were just as negative against them. The strange thing to me is imo hungerford were not that bad but they were...

Re: Dartford v Hungerford Sat 9 Oct 2021 Kick off 3pm
We will get more of the cynical Hungerford tactics from other teams and we will find a way round them as we did today . Time wasting , feigning injury, kicking the ball away and A weak referee added up to a frustrating afternoon but we got past the negativity and Hungerford went home with what they ...

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round - October 16th
Yes the goal that never was, One of the worst decisions I have ever seen , the ball was nowhere near their goal line but the lino and the ref were adamant that it was a goal. We went on to win the league and I believe that they lost in the play offs that year. We should have enough quality to get th...
