Re: Maidstone v Dartford Sat 11 Dec 2021
We were comprehensively outplayed on the day and I can't agree with SK's version of events. This result has been building up for some time now and our manager is not helping matters with team selection of one player in particular. For the life of me, I can't understand the reasoning behind it. How o...

Re: Maidstone v Dartford Sat 11 Dec 2021
The 5th and myself will both be missing this one due to poor stewarding in our allocated end and the Maidstone fans adjacent to us throwing coins and insults during the previous cup game. Plus the poor allocation and having to go on line to book tickets means I would sooner spend the money on Xmas ...

Re: Dartford v Billericay Sat 4 Dec 2021
Steve Kings post match interview on radio Kent was one of the most honest i've ever heard. I'll try and post the link later, well worth a listen. Agree with you Parky, an excellent open & honest interview from an unhappy Kingy. Who was the guy that signed for Ricay last minute and only told Kin...

John Jonty Aldous, right-handed top-order batsman, wicket-keeper & medium fast right arm over the wicket. My first game was back in 73 and I stand to the right, just behind the goal with many others on here, including a certain retired international porn star.

Re: Dartford v Oxford City Sat 13 Nov 2021
Oxford were the best team I have seen season to date and the fact we got a draw after the bad injury to Luke Allen, on top of the current injuries and missing Husin makes the draw even more remarkable. We were the better team but we still gave the ball away too easily, in fact Luke's injury came by ...

Re: Dartford v Oxford City Sat 13 Nov 2021
I couldn't agree with you more DD, give me a player who drives his team forward as opposed to the short sideways pass! Don't get me wrong, the likes of Jebb, Murtagh & Husin are very good players in their own right but playing the three together in the same lineup is a luxury we cannot afford wh...

Re: Dartford v Oxford City Sat 13 Nov 2021
We need to bounce back ASAP but I fear that SK will stick with three of our luxury midfielders, plus the bizarre decision to leave our most influential player on the bench. We desperately need more pace and mobility and I was half expecting to hear the return of Hyde this week. Anyway, looking forwa...

I'm not liking that lineup, maybe SK feels that the game can be won from the bench today. At least it gives Michael Kedman a chance. COYD

Re: Chelmsford match on Monday 25th October 2021
I agree with Ozy, I would have taken the draw beforehand. My only concern was playing three relatively slow players together in the middle of the park from the off. I would still like to see Hyde return and leave one or two of our sideways passing players on the bench. I also hope we see Jake Robins...

Re: Player news
Not sure what Craig King has done wrong, I thought he was the strongest of our two keepers. His distribution and command of the area are better but probably not as strong shot-stopper. As for Tyrique, we could have done with his work rate on Saturday, yet another player I would have further up the m...

Re: FA cup 4th qualifying round draw - AFC Sudbury v Dartford Sat 16 Oct 2021 KO 3pm
It was good to speak with you this week Dave, hope to catch up with you soon. As for the game tomorrow, for those of you who have not been to this ground before, you cannot generate any noise behind the goals. Sound behind the goals just disappears up its own @r$e. I remember last time that the home...

29 minutes before the ticket office closes. Hey PL, did you remember where you parked your car? It must have been all that dazzling football that somehow clouded your brain.
What a performance that was, let's enjoy the moment as days like that don't come along too often.
