Re: Dartford v Weston-super-Mare Tue 31 Oct 2023
From watching the highlights I realised that Luke Coulson actually set up 3 of our 4 goals and scored one, I originally thought he’d only set up 2. Alex Walls 2nd yellow was a very clumsy challenge and no real need for it but the ref was sucked in by the WSM player who went down so easily knowing Al...

Re: Dartford v Weston-super-Mare Tue 31 Oct 2023
First half was absolutely dire and had WSM had the right shooting boots on we could’ve been about 0-4 down, they was far more hungry for the ball and chased down everything. Thankfully Beeney saved their penalty which seemed to liven us up a bit and it was just after that we managed to level at 1-1 ...

Re: Hemel Hempstead Town FC v Dartford Sat 28 Oct 2023
When you are getting the likes of Park Life & Spike making the kind of comments they have and especially saying time for a change then things really have got bad. I don’t know how much longer the board can give Dowse to be honest because it’s just one piss poor performance after the next, it rea...

Re: News from around the National League South
I do believe the only way of SK getting Havant out of the shit they are in is to employ the methods he uses. Because they are looking relegation material at the moment. I do believe this all started when the two clubs amalgamation. Did anyone ever go to the Waterlooville ground. I seem to remember ...

Re: Dartford v Havant and Waterlooville Sat 21 Oct 2023
I watched an interview with King on the Havant site leading up to this game and he was asked about his time at Dartford.
He seems to think he was unfairly treated by the club in the end with the way things ended up.

Re: Dartford v Havant and Waterlooville Sat 21 Oct 2023
Neither Jebb or Agyepong did anything in the game to change things at all yesterday.
Jebb was clean through on goal a 1 v 1 with Beeney and he tried to lob Mitch but put the ball over the bar.
That was the closest he got and to be honest I didn’t even notice Agyepong in the game at all.

Re: Dartford v Havant and Waterlooville Sat 21 Oct 2023
A much better performance today and we fully deserved the points although there is still a lot of room for improvement. Havant are a very poor side who actually made us look better than we actually was, on another day and against stronger opposition we could’ve been caught out & punished. We was...

Re: Dartford v Havant and Waterlooville Sat 21 Oct 2023
What concerns me more than anything especially this season is the amount of injuries we’ve had right from pre season up until now. We always seem to have had players out injured, I can’t believe that so many have picked up injuries during games either, some may be be not all. So if this is the case ...

Re: Tom Bonner
If people watch Dowse’s interview after the Chippenham game Dowse is asked the question about Tom joining Havant and Dowse says what happened.
Havant or rather King made Tom an offer he couldn’t refuse and one we just couldn’t match.

Re: Chippenham Town v Dartford Sat 7 Oct 2023
An excellent result away from home where we’ve actually scored a few goals and only conceded one especially against one of our bogey teams.
Let’s hope we can continue this run now and get some sort of good form going.
Look forward to reading the views of those that went.

Re: Tom Bonner
What doesn’t make any sense is the fact Tom was warming up with the players at PP a few weeks ago and when asked the question of was he signing for us again and coming back his response was we’ll have to wait and see. If he wasn’t coming back then why warm up with our players and stand in the dug ou...

Re: Gillingham
A Gillingham fan I know said the same that it was on the cards.
The fans started calling him NIL Harris due to the lack of goals they scored or even created.
The question is will Hessenthaler step into the breach as temporary cover until they make their next appointment.

What did the trialists look like Parklife, any of them look useful?

Re: Player news
And straight into their team v Altrincham tonight. Good luck to him. He'll be missed. Also see they have a Sho-Silva in their side. Could he be the one playing for us a few years back, and who I think scored in the 1-5 Cup defeat v Swindon Town? Looking at his club career on live Flashscore it does...

Re: Player news
It makes no sense as he was one of our best defenders, unless he was unhappy at the club and the way things were going OR Oxford wanted him to start playing at a higher level albeit at a struggling club in the Vanerama Prem.
Maidenhead is a lot closer to Oxford as well.

Re: Player news
A player who never fulfilled his potential, he could’ve been a very good player if he had the right attitude, listened and was willing to learn but I guess he thought he knew best and now he’s lost out. He could’ve gone on to bigger and better things a bit like a certain Ebou Adams, now where did he...
