Re: Dartford v Concord Rangers Tue 25 Jan 2022 - KO 7.45

Haven't posted here for a while and whenever I do it has most widely already been said. On this occasion I have only just thawed out, cannot believe how cold it was at PP last night, perhaps the lack of excitement and positive result made it colder. And I can't disagree with most of what has been sa...

Re: Negativity

Agree with most of what's said here, but for me the doom and gloom portrayed by some posters should be saved until relegation is confirmed! Only joking, that won't happen, but the gloom, please save until promotion is mathematically impossible. Our early season burst gave us a solid foundation for a...

Re: FA Trophy 4th round draw.

Agree, it is very poor but presumably relies on voluntary maintenance. It appears the club use Twitter as their main source of posting info and updates? But this does not suit everyone. AllI can say is a big thank you to Rick and all contributors, as here is where I learn almost everything Darts fc....

Re: Braintree v Dartford Tue 28 Dec 2021 at 3pm

Just watched the 'high' lights, (after smashing through a few at the head!) I trust the management will have noted that two Darts players had encroached into the penalty area at the point the ball was struck. (Freeze the frame at this point and you will see one each side). With VAR or a more astute o...

Re: Braintree v Dartford Tue 28 Dec 2021 at 3pm

BAWArmy, it is blatantly obvious you are NO Dartford supporter. You WALLOW in things when they start to go wrong with the teams performance and you secretly love it. As soon as we started to lose a few, your head rose in splendour and then when we win you are NOWHERE in sight. Where were you when w...

Re: Braintree v Dartford Tue 28 Dec 2021 at 3pm

Would you feel the need to segregate around 50 visiting supporters? Ah yes, it is Maidstone of course.
Are we to read anything into the absence of Meade, Leonard and Clarke? Too much Xmas turkey? That's my excuse anyway!

Re: News from around the National League South

it's like the curse of the manager of the month award, be top of the table and get shot down, go on a losing run. That's what I am hoping for Oxford anyway and am quite pleased we are only second!! :o

Ebbsfleet v Dartford Sun 2nd January 2022

Just had a quick look to check on Websfleet's catch up game due to be played tonight vs Bath, (it's been rearranged for their blank Saturday before Christmas) and saw that tickets for our new year game at Stonebridge Road are now on sale. Re: Maidstone v Dartford Sat 11 Dec 2021

re segregation, completely agree with Spike and Trevor B, you put up a barrier and to some it becomes a call to arms. Personally, I much prefer watching games from somewhere near the halfway line anyway, which of course is an option for those who wish to watch the game undisturbed at the Gallagher. ...

Re: Who are ya?

So Rob, were you at the Battle of the 82' when a certain Dartford FC played you off the Park for 60% of the game and we still managed to let Millwall win? :D Ha Ozy, I think you will find that match was in November '83. I was in love through most of the George Graham period so no, I don't recall be...

' Open and Honest' interview with SK!!! What else could he say? 'We were crap' sums it up nicely. Bloody awful performance. I thought Poland had sole rights to Clowns in goal. But that guy was a laugh a minute. Anyway, enough about him, my worry is with a performance like that we should be very wor...

Re: Dartford v Billericay Sat 4 Dec 2021

I know this is nothing to do with our club or even football other than showing a sign of support at today's game... Birmingham are playing at Millwall this afternoon and both sets of supporters are planning a minute's applause on six minutes to respect little Arthur Labinjo-Hughes murdered by his sc...

My apologies Sleightly, just having a quick track back, (yes I agree I need to get out more  ) and I think this comment in an earlier thread registered in my mind as a potential for us finishing 5th or 6th? "But it’s gonna be tight with the likes of £bbsfl££t, Oxford City, St Albans and Do...

Re: FA Trophy 3rd round - Saturday December 18th

Okay, I’ve had a very senior moment and done summat crazy stupid. In my aging stupidity I’ve ordered a ticket for the Cray game and then realised I can’t go because of a prearranged commitment that I can’t get out of. So I have a FREE emailable ‘ticket’ (all it is is a scannable square code thing) ...
